These were perfect for my vintage chairs! they look brand new now. Excellent product

The size was accurate and fit my coffee table legs perfectly. The casters are very sturdy and move smoothly on both hardwood floors and carpet without causing any scratches or marks. You need to use your own tools.

Used these casters on my office chair. They were perfect for that purpose. Easy to install, low profile with 360 directional motion capability. The durable wheels fit my need.

I used these in a vintage wooden chair whose prev. owner had removed the casters. Because they'd pried them out of the wood, the new grips in the base of these casters would not hold. I used e-6000 glue to secure them and let dry before trying the chair. NOTE: ONCE YOU PUT THE CASTERS INTO THE BASE, THEY WILL NOT COME OUT! SO MAKE SURE THE GRIPS ARE SECURE BEFORE YOU INSERT THE CASTERS. Works great for me, but perhaps the seller says not to use for chairs because they may come loose and tip the chair while you're in it....

We got a new coffee table that didn't have casters on the legs like our old one. Easy to put these in and now I can move my table around when needed.

Good quality. Nice retro look. Instructions for drilling hole using 3/8 bit. I found you get a better fit using a 23/64 bit.

We ordered these casters for our "twig" dining room chairs my husband made years ago for our log cabin home. They were designed to use with an antique table that we have since replaced with a new hickory log table. The new hickory table is higher than the antique table was making our old twig chairs just a bit too low for comfort. I looked for a caster that would raise the chair up to the proper height for our needs - not too little - not too much and these fit the bill. I tried a different type caster with wheels instead of balls and found they did not roll over our braid rug very well. So I asked the question on Amazon if these would roll over a braided rug. A big shout-out to all the folks who are kind enough to answer questions like these! Many thanks! The response I got was that these casters would most likely roll pretty well over a braided rug and I'm here to tell you that in fact, they do! So I am a very happy camper! Our chairs now sit and a comfortable height for our new table and they can be rolled in and out with ease. In addition, the antique brass color is compatible with our decor but I would have preferred black. Since the ball wheel is black, this suits me fine. They seems to be sturdy and so far we have had no problems with them. They were also easy enough to install. So all in all, I highly recommend.

Couldn’t use my chairs were not a fit

I have ordered these many times and am never disappointed. Makes life easier for me for cleaning especially with heavy cupboards. If needed I will order again.

These dented oak hardwood so I don’t see them working for any hardwood. The surface area of the ball that actually rolls around on the floor is like a skinny high heel, not a ball distributing the weight. Other than that they are as they appear, fine but with a plasticky look & feel, which is to be expected at that price.

I have been looking high and low for some thing that is one and one and a half swivel caster wheel. That is the exact size which they don’t have in any of the stores. They have it bigger but never the exact size. So I was excited to get these and then the Insert and the actual stem of it because I need one that has a stem on it as well for the caster and the stem the top of it so like the bolt and the nut of it the way that they built it you can’t put it into anything it took forever to get them and then once I got them, I said have to return it. It wasn’t all all secure in the box. Do not waste time ir money.
