Bakery Authentic Bavarian Plain Soft Pretzel, Pack of 10

My faith in this business is restored I DID indeed receive a reply after my comment about the defective product (somehow I missed it) Not only did the company reply but sent out a "larger than the original" replacement. My order was originally for 10 pretzels and the replacement box contained 25 (I may even, actually use up all the salt they sent... inside joke if you've ordered and know how big the bag of salt is). Good job in responding and making the order and experience "right!" Thank You. Yet another update; Even though the package on the pretzel says "BEST BY 07/31/16" the attached pictures says something different. Really, MOLD and I have not had these pretzels one week yet. And no contact when a bad review is written? This is just the worst. Update to the Update; Seems as if the price has gone down a bit to $23 or so dollars. Sadly, so has the quality. It seems as if every pretzel I have eaten from this latest batch has been under cooked. All have been so "doughy" inside it is almost like eating raw pretzel dough. I fear my purchasing of this product is about to come to an end. Update of my review. The price increase will force me to NOT buy these pretzels much longer. I noted below they were $20 then they increased to $23 and change and now, just 9 NINE DAYS LATER the price is now $29. This s flower and a few other ingredients, none of which are gold. Sorry but the price has become prohibitive. This order will be my last, you have priced yourself out of a customer. These are awesome pretzels. They remind me of the ones I used to get when I lived in New York. They are soft and chewy. They give you enough salt for 1000 pretzels. I sent my sister a box and we video chatted and video drooled about how good they were and how they reminded us both of growing up eating them in New York. I recommend them over that store bought frozen brand, even though those are good also. I wish I had found the case of 50 for $70 instead of the individual boxes of 10 for $20.00, they really should let you know they have a discounted bigger box. :-(

These tasty pretzels arrived fresh and delicious. When they're baked the bottoms get a slightly grill pattern and sometimes produce flakes. The small black flecks on the inside of the packaging is just from the bottom of the pretzel, entirely edible. Alot of care went in to the manufacturing of these pretzels, right down to the wonderful pretzel salt and airtight packaging. Should keep well in the fridge for several days. Marvelous!!

Purchased the cinnamon and regret it. There is a very distinct aftertaste that reminds me of those artificial sweeteners. I should have just purchased the plain. Will donate this box to the local food pantry as I have no other complaints with the product

These pretzels are soooo good! I did get one moldy one in the first box, but the second box was good to go. I actually started freezing them now because I don’t want them to get moldy. It only takes a minute or so in the microwave to prepare.

Great tasting pretzels.

These shelf stable soft pretzels are the best thing ever to happen to those of us who are unable to go to the grocery store. Thank you for this incomparable treat for the house bound. Cut into pieces, add a sprinkle of salt and drizzle with maple syrup and zap for 15 seconds and it's tastes just like buttered French toast heaven. There are so many ways to enjoy these with cheese, peanut butter and jam and even chocolate chips! Pro Tip for those with dentures - they are 100% teeth free heaven. As a NYC boy, I have very fond memories and high standards for food, even street food. I've been dieing for a real NYC soft dough pretzel for a long time When I saw these pretzels and the high ratings, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my expectations were much too high. They are nothing like the NYC or Philly street pretzels. They are just a step up from the frozen Super Pretzels in the supermarket. The only nice thing is they don't have to be refrigerated. They're very doughy and don't have the satisfying chew the real ones have. Unlike what everyone in the reviews said, my pretzels did not come with any salt packets. No salt, no instructions (although not needed), no name brand on any of the packaging. I wonder if I got the official product. I have been in touch with the vendor and hope to hear from them soon. Meanwhile I will increase my baking time to 10 minutes and see if that helps with the doughiebess. UPDATE: Uncooked for 10 minutes and the pretzel is more crunchy, but still had a doughy taste. The vendor promptly contacted me and is sending the missing salt packet.
