Bought because my original phone holder's glue just didn't hold well in my 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport. The 5-Star reviews didn't disappoint. The installation was easy; just loosened the holder until it was able to grab the vent fin and then I tightened it. Took all of 2 minutes, and that was just deciding where I wanted to put it. Has very nice stability and the magnet holds my phone very well. I got it on sale, which adds to the value that it already provides. The only gripe I have is that it sticks out further than I thought, but it now give me access to some radio buttons. I Would recommend.

I only use mine with the extra strong magnet they come with in the back of my case, but I have never had it fall off or cause any issues! It was so easy to put in and works perfectly!

Excellent option to have your cell phone hanging on in your car. Steady, easy to place and remove from the phone holder. I strongly recommend it, especially after having an inconvenient experience with those hanging from the rear-view mirror.

This was the 2nd time I bought this holder. I originally returned it because it didn't work on any of our phone cases, but when we changed phones and cases, it's been amazing. I'll actually be ordering a couple more for our other cars. The magnetic hold is very strong, even if you hit a pothole or go over a speed bump, it holds the phone. Install was easy, different vents require different adjustments of course but it works in every vent we've used in. It's also pretty small, it doesn't block your vision when the phone is in it and it was a great value.

I highly recommend this phone holder! I drive for work and get my phone in and out a lot at stops, so this is a better alternative to the traditional holder that you have to click/unclick to hold the phone in place or release. I also don't have to worry if my phone fits. I can swivel the phone at many angles...for the map, watching movies, etc. The magnets are super strong so the phone doesn't fall off if you hit bumps or anything, but not so strong that it is hard to get the phone off. I do recommend holding the part that is clipped on the vent and putting your phone on and pulling it off a few times when you first get it, to weaken the magnets just a little so it doesn't put so much pressure on the vent and isn't too hard to pull off with one hand. I have used mine almost every day for over 5 months and it still has a strong hold. I have ordered 4 more for other people that liked mine and 3 more for myself for "backup" in case I can't get them when I need them. I am curious, though, as to why the picture shows 2 of the round magnets, because the box only contains one. That's the one I prefer because it is smaller. I was concerned that the magnet being on my phone case would snag when putting in in my back pocket, but nope! It slides in with ease. Very happy with this product!

This is a great, small and easy to use phone holder

I bought this because the previous cellphone holder that I had partially blocked the charging port on my phone. My phone is kind of old and I have to stay on top of the battery to make it through the day, so charging it on my way to/from work or on long trips is essential. This mounts by hooking onto one of the slats in the dashboard vent. The hook is then retracted until it captures the slat tightly. This is not a problem with vents that have slats of the same depth, but the vent on my dashboard is curved. This tends to skew the holder upward as it is tightened. I had to try a few times until I could get it to hold securely and not slip out of position. This puts a lot of pressure on a single vent slat, and we'll see if the holder and/or the slat decide to break over time. The magnetic mount is nice because it leaves the entire perimeter of the phone unblocked, but you need to have a case with steel in it for the magnet to attract. My phone case doesn't so I had to bond one of the included steel plates to the back of it. I initially tried to slip the steel plate between the phone and case (something the instructions tell you NOT to do, to be fair) but the distance between the magnet and plate is too large to keep the phone in place. My case doesn't have a flat back, and I was afraid that the self-adhesive steel plate would not bond well so I used 3M high-bond double sided tape to adhere the plate to the outside of my phone case. This is VERY secure-- I'm pretty sure I'd bend the plate before it ripped off the back of the case-- but it makes the plate stick up from the back of the case by 1/8". As a result it snags on other stuff in my pocket and it has a hard time fitting in the phone holder on my motorcycle. Note that this is not the fault of the holder AT ALL-- it's merely an experiment on my part that didn't work. In the future I'll probably switch to a magnetic case for my phone, IE one that has a steel stand on the back. That will be a cleaner solution than the hodge-podge that I have on there now. Keep that in mind if you have a phone case where it will be difficult to adhere a steel plate. I used the holder for the first time this morning. I can tell you that the magnet GRABS ON FOR DEAR LIFE. I stuck my phone onto it and drove to work, and my phone didn't budge a bit. I'm really impressed with the strength of the magnet. So far I like this holder, and I'll like it even more when I get a new phone case. I'm a little leery of how it clips onto the vent, and time will tell how durable that installation is. For the moment however, this holder is working very well and holds my phone quite securely.

I don't often write reviews on here (I really should) but this really exceeded my expectations, quality product designed to completely fix a common problem - finding a reliable phone holder. This this clips onto the air vent and is adjusted to precision with quality 'knobs'. Great quality and extremely efficient at doing its job, both clipping in and the strength of the magnet holds my S24 Ultra with the magnet inside the case, doesn't fall while driving all day. Best of its kind + very effective at doing its job. Price is a steal.

I was skeptical at first on the practicality and sturdiness of this, I was wrong this is a good product and it can fit really snug in your car vent and the magnets are strong as well so that the phone doesn't wobble while you are driving, I have an 6.7 inch screen phone and a vertical car vent, this fits very well.

Designed well, built well and worked great with most car vents. Good magnet and very manoeuvrable. Excellent.
