After hours of researching, I chose this laptop stand. I did not want to have to buy an extra keypad but needed the laptop to be at eye-level. I have a 15" laptop and it fits perfectly. I am currently typing on it and it's VERY sturdy. the item seems very well made and not cheaply constructed. I was concerned about the lip at the base that holds up the laptop being uncomfortable while typing but my wrist do not touch it, so definitely not an issue for me. I chose the silver version and it's very elegant. It is not a shiny silver but a polish silver which is exactly what I had envisioned. I love the style of it very clean cut lines. It comes with a 2 year warranty card that you need to register within 7 days or purchase, very easy process. I can imagine it would be easy for traveling as you you just close it flat. I will mostly just use in my home office. I recommend this product for all the above reasons.

I never thought that I'd like a laptop "kick stand" this much, but it makes it so much easier to type, especially when my professors want responses while on live zoom class. It was always a hassle to maneuver the laptop to have the keyboard where I needed it to be while being on top of the camera. This stand allows the keyboard to be upright where you can clearly see it while being on camera at the same time. All the while the laptop is super sturdy and help in place. I have a 13" macbook pro.

I have had two weeks using this laptop stand on a two-week-long business trip. The construction seems stable, and the aluminum is in style with the current unibody aluminum laptops. I have a MacBook. Several things need to be considered:1. The rubber support grips the table well, but do not grip my laptop very well. The metal laptop base is in direct contact with the metal stand, and I am always worried if I am going to scratch my laptop. It will not be a problem if you use a laptop cover. For me, it is better used on a steady surface without the use of the built-in keyboard to decrease the movement of the laptop on top of the stand.2. Alternative uses are just as good, if not better. The laptop stand worked well as a book stand and a projector stand on top of a table. I was able to adjust to the perfect angle.

I needed to order a laptop stand because I always do my work in bed and did not want my laptop to over heat. When II got on line there where so many to choose from that my head was spinning. I went back and forth with this stand and another and finally purchased this one. I have been using this for several months now and couldn't be happier. I take it with me when I travel and it fits perfectly inside my rolling bag for my laptop.I am very pleased and will be recommending this to others!

I am using this stand to cool the laptop that sits on my kitchen counter. The Counter holds heat and my fan was running on high constantly. I just got the stand today and as soon as I placed it on the stand the fan got quieter. It is so quiet now that I can barely hear it. That is exactly what I needed this for. I tried a couple of cooling bases that had fans. Both were defective. Really cheap garbage. And one was from a manufacturer whose products I use a lot. This base is thick aluminum and very sturdy. It works well as a heat sink pulling heat from the bottom of the machine. I highly recommend this as it works well at a reasonable price.

Very excellent quality for the price compared to its other peer products being sold online for use with laptops. Comes with quality packaging and quick to setup.Though it is designed for versatility keeping in view of the various sizes of the laptop, it should have been a bit bigger in size for the sake of sturdiness and comfort.

While the stand is quite sturdy and functions as required for a lap top, I would like to see several things improved.1. Was quite disappointed in the finish, other manufactures copying the apple finish have done better.2.As well as a lap top I would like to use it for my ipad. (12.9) In sketch mode it works great but would like to see something to allow the ipad to be used for typing. This would require holding the ipad in place and adding rubber around cylinder ends.
