Feherguard Tube and Solar Cover Fastening Kit FGHDWFASPK

They arrived at my house in one day. They are easy to install and they work great. This is my second set. This was the third season using the first set and they they started breaking. Just the strap broke.

I tried the fold over clip style only to have them all be popped open in a few hrs these I’ve used before and really like them should have stuck with what I new was good awesome and easy to use. Michigan

These do what they are supposed to. Easy to install and adjustable. However, they need to be replaced each summer as they start to lose their grip. We are in the mid west and the elements deteriorate them. We replace the solar cover as well.

Original set of straps lasted 7 or 8 years before succumbing to weather and pool chemicals. That’s a pretty good ROI.

Have used this product for a number of things. From tying our sail shade, once tied, it doesn’t slip or give way when it’s windy or heavy rains To using it for macrame projects

Like others have posted.. You end up needing 2 kits to complete the task. Also, the straps are short and will not last more than a season. I like the connectors and ended up using an old strap from a tiedown that was much stronger and I cut it to get the strap size needed. Understand you really only get 5 fasteners as you need to use one on each end. If you have a long cover (like my 16 foot) you really need more than 5. As all solar covers only seem to last for a couple of seasons, the same for this kit. The straps will rot after a season or two. Been there, done that.

They work fine. . They need to make the straps stronger so they last more years

I installed these fastening kit straps to my solar cover and so far I am thrilled. The fasteners that were there were small round pieces that you pushed through a hole in the solar cover. They always pulled out and I had to make another hole and push it through. This kit eliminated the constant attention I was previously spending bent over reinstalling another piece. I installed these straps and I have not had to reinstall them, they work great. I have one year under my belt, I am totally expecting the same excellence that I received last year.
