I purchased the thermometer because our daughter broke our other one. We still have one but it registers the temperatures very low. This Alcedo thermometer is great to work with. It has various functions and modes. You can measure the temperature of objects or adults forehead or ears and also baby forehead or ears. The part you take off to change from forehead to ear is magnetic and snaps back on with ease. I was able to see how hot my hot apple cider was and what temperature the 3 people in our house was. It is easy to use with simple self explanatory buttons. Mute was it little tricky to get on but it works when got it on. Also, it turns itself off after a few seconds which is nice. Great thermometer! One negative is a little hard to hold as the back as really sleek with no finger grip.

Product as described. Love that it has a forehead or ear option and it has adult, kids and baby modes. Instant read. Led is bright and clear. It also can read temperature for bath water and food. Great that it comes with batteries and storage bag

Add this for sometime works pretty good pretty accurate and of course I read review reviews on it and said it was a very good one not just reviews here on Amazon, but I researched the thermometers and it’s none of the local stores carried it. I ordered it from here on Amazon.

Bought this as needed, couldn't find my thermometer for ear readings and one of my twins was obviously feverish. Initial use was very cool, I like that this changes functions automatically when you take off the forehead guard. I also love that I don't have to buy an extra filter for an ear reading.That being said the forehead and ear readings were wildly different. My baby was obviously feverish, noticeable by touch as well as temp taken with this via ear and underarm with a standard thermometer. The forehead reading was 3 or more degrees different every time and changed with distance, 1-3cm like recommended in the manual. While the ear function was more accurate it also had varying readings in the same ear taken multiple times in the span of a few minutes, some as different as 2 degrees. It's fine in a pinch, to use if I am thinking about giving a fever reducer, but not what I would use to base the decision to take my child to the ER for a fever or not.

Fantastic. Easy to use, works great, no waiting with a thermometer under the tongue, rather 1-3 cm away scan, or in the ear, and it also measures temperatures around the house. Completely satisfied and a great value too.

So much easier to use than an oral thermometer. And quicker. A great buy.

This thermometer works exactly as advertised. I don’t have any complaints about it. It lies perfectly in your hand and measures the temperature quickly in less than a second. It comes in a nice pouch so you can store it without worrying that the display gets scratched or anything. The display is easy to read. Maybe not the cheapest option out there but certainly excellent quality. I didn’t experience any large differences in readings like some of the other reviewers. Maybe 0.1 degrees or so but not more.

Molto rapido nella lettura, sia sulla pelle sia all'interno dell'orecchio grazie alla doppia funzione. Non immediato come funzionamento perché richiede un doppio tocco iniziale ma una volta capito nessun problema. Lo trovo anche piuttosto preciso
