This is really fresh really GOOD milk. But you do have to shake the cream back into the milk or it gathers at the top. What's been working for me is to decant the gallon bottle into quart sized tall bottles, and store them in the back of the refrigerator in a stack on their side. As I use each quart the long top surface is much easier to shake back into the mix. STRAUS full fat whole milk is the gold standard. Nothing rates higher than this great-tasting, creamy milk. I’ve purchased their milk hundreds of times and it’s consistently delicious. I’m a big fan of all their products, try the ice cream or yogurt.

I would rate this as the best milk for lacto vegetarians. No other added nonsense. If you are not aware most milk contain added vitamin A which generally comes from lanolin or oil from sheep wool. I also love the cream on the top. I can make some fresh ghee from that. Though it's a great idea they got the plastic bottles instead of glass during pandemic, but the cream sticks on the top of the can. I really really don't want any cream to be wasted. Another thing is that we get only like 5 days before the milk expired in Arizona. Atleast 2 weeks or 10 days will help. This makes us switch alternatively with grass fed milk. All said and done, this milk is the best and I will be purchasing it.

The cream top on the milk is delicious. I don’t think there is a better milk out there. Cream top milk has completely changed how I think about milk. The layer of cream on top gives it such a rich, velvety texture — it feels like something you’d get from a local farm. I love either gently mixing it in or scooping a little cream for my coffee. It makes everything taste more special, even something as simple as cereal or a morning latte.

a solid cream layer on top. it kind of tastes like ice cream. apparently much healthier than similar priced 'organic' milks.
