I have never used this item for our septic tank, I have always used RID-X every month and I have been well satisfied. I did use this "Gobble" brand this past fall, in September, to rid all of the hair & lint from the two bathrooms, without trying to pull up a "wig" ! Besides myself, the "Alpha Male", I have a wife and 2 daughters that have been gifted with gorgeous heads of hair...from my wife's side! NO PLUMBER'S HELPER BRANDS DISSOLVE HAIR. The proof is in the puddin'!! I used to clean out the drains once a month!? Now, at the end of this month of April, I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANY HAIR CLOGS!!!!

"Ease of Use" {?}Drop in toilet + Flush"Value for Money" {?}?Sure? based on what...I my region, if my septic system and leach field fails - It can't be replaced.They won't fix or relocate a similar system.The codes won't allow it.So, the replacement runs about 25 grand and has to be pumped out every month.There is no empirical way to tell if the stuff is doing everything.I'm not going in there to find out.So, just to keep the $25000 dollar boogieman away, I'm willing to toss a couple of these critters down the toilet every couple of weeks.It's cheaper than therapy."Softness" {?}Why were there stars for Softness?
