Excellent product. I used Auto Finesse Iron Out first ...
Excellent product. I used Auto Finesse Iron Out first before applying Permaseal Step 1. Do sections at a time. I did the boot lid first and then the bonnet and so on.Using a damp soft sponge applicator I found the product easy to apply by hand. (Only use an electric buffer if competent to do so). Circular motions and then straight line strokes to ensure even coverage. Nice consistency. It soon dried off and I then buffed up the paintwork using a good quality microfibre cloth. Easy to polish up and a great looking shine. Repeated the process with Step 2. Excellent result. My car is a ten year old 5 Series BMW in Deep Sea Blue metallic and it looks like a new vehicle. I will say that the car paintwork needs to be in good condition. I have used Autoglym products for many years so I had a good start before using Permaseal. The product works well on exterior trim, plastics and alloy wheels. Not on the windows or windscreen! Application instruction sheet would be helpful for people unsure of how to use the product but there are helpful videos online which will help you to use Permaseal.

Applied Permaseal in 2015 - caravan still shines
Bought a new caravan in 2015 and baulked at paying dealers charge for paint protection coating so purchased this Permaseal and did it ourselves. The surfaces have got to be clean initially, you cant skimp on this. I wonder if it is really necessary for the product to be applied in 2 stages?? The most difficult part of applying it to a caravan is to do the top properly, fortunately I have a access tower so that eases the job. After 4 years the 'van still looks shiny and the paint is still silky smooth. Other people often comment on how shiny it is. Overall it appears to be a good product but applying it is hard work. I'm jolly sure the contractors who do it for the dealers don't put as much effort in to the job as we did. I'm just about to order some more to do the top again as the van lives under some trees and the atmospheric pollution around here is bad; between them the top gets really stained, but the stains do come off.

Brilliant polish
Hi, I used permaseal about a week ago, I washed the car first let it dry, it was a sunny day so i put it into a garage to polish, I used a new sponge which I cut in half so as to use one half with the first coat and the other half with the second coat, it was easy to apply and just as easy to polish off. By using a sponge I found the polish went much further and I still have half left. I am very pleased with the result and it's rained a number of times since it was polished, but still has a brilliant shine to it,Very pleased.

Better than Main agent paint protection Excellent after six months
I have had the main agent recommended treatment in the past at about ยฃ400 ( It must be funding the jewels in the name ๐) It was rubbish , This however, at fraction of the cost has been great over the six months Nov - April ( 2020 to 2021) I applied it within a day or two after delivery of my Kia Sportage it has balled up the rain, resisted the frost and snow and has aided the sash8ng down of the car when dirty. The protection has remained after mild shampooing and I have just reapplied the product April 2021 It is easy to apply in dry weather and gives a great shine Be warned IT DOES TURN MARK THE BLACK PLASTIC TRIM ......I need to get an extra product to remove e the white marks ! Having tried many product over many years This IS the best

Great results, easy to use
Recently bought my wife a nearly new car. Dealer was asking nearly ยฃ200 to apply paint protection and stain guard. Bought this, a jumbo pack of microfibre cloths and scotchguard and did the job myself. Just followed the instructions working one panel at a time, easy to apply and buffed up to an amazing finish. Still looks fantastic today a couple of months down the line. I can't wait to have a go on my car when the weather picks up in spring. P.S. also saved a packet on gap insurance that the dealer wanted sell me for ยฃ195 by buying direct at ยฃ66, pays to shop around

Initial thoughts are it works well
The cars have both shone up nicely after using it and now beading water well. One set was enough for me to do 2 coats on a kia ceed estate and a big lexus ls430. Unknown at this stage how long lasting it will prove but fingers crossed!

Best long life polish I've used
Can't understand the negative reports about this product. I used about 1/2 of it on my Lexus 3 years ago and never touched it with polish since. Wash and dry with a chamois leather and the shine is absolutely cracking. I have received many admiring comments about it's finish. Went back to the car sales showroom to collect a spare part and the sales manager wanted to know what polish it was, he had never heard of it. I applied part 1 by hand and removed residue with soft cloth then buffed it with a lambswool polishing bonnet on a speed polisher. Repeated for step 2. Good product
