Calendula & Aloe Vera Soap, Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash Bar. 4.5 oz

I’ve been using this bar soap for about a year now and have had excellent results. I originally wanted to get away from my ultra-processed face wash and switch to something more natural. In my year of using it, my face has never been so clear of blemishes and acne. I love that this soap has natural, clean ingredients and smells so good. The lather is unbeatable, with it soaping up without much effort, and the bar itself usually lasts at least 3 months. For the results along with the longevity of this bar, the value is awesome at this price point. Overall, I’m super happy with this Aspen Kay bar and will continue to keep using it. I’ve even ordered another Aspen Kay formula soap bar for nighttime face washing and love that one too. The only thing to think about is to moisturize every day because it can lead to some dryness of the skin. 10⭐️ out of 10⭐️ for the results, smell, longevity, and price point.

I have perioral dermatitis which makes the skin on my face extremely sensitive to everything I put on it, as well as very dry. I'm having a pretty bad "outbreak" right now and have been avoiding face wash (just using water to wash my face) to prevent further irritation but I really wanted to be able to actually clean my skin. I found this soap and thought it might work for me because the ingredients were so natural and there was nothing weird at all added to it. I have been using it for about a week now and, while it hasn't cleared up periderm, it's allowed me to wash my face without further irritation. As far as the parts of my face that aren't affected by periderm, the soap makes it feel very moisturized and soft without feeling greasy at all. The smell is really nice, it's fresh and smells very natural, not overwhelming at all (I'm also sensitive to smells). Overall, great soap and would absolutely recommend for both normal and sensitive skin.

I was looking for a natural soap to wash primarily my face with, but this is great because it can be used for your face & body. The smell is more subtle than I imagined it would be. It’s not the greatest smell in the world. It’s very light. It suds up good & got my eye make up off easily. My face felt nice & moisturized after. I applied coconut oil after washing & drying my face & my face looks & feels great. My only real complaint is that it burns pretty bad if you get it in your eyes at all which is hard not to do when you are washing off mascara. I still gave 5 stars because I like this company & what they are about. I’ll probably try another scent next time.

I am very satisfied with this product. The quality of the bar is great, the smell is also very pleasant. I have a very sensitive skin and by far this is the best bar ive come across here in the U.S. Ingredients played the main role when i made the choice to buy this product and i must say that the soap is and feels quitev "body-friendly" Wish the price was a little bit cheaper. Seems a bit insane for a bar of soap.

I purchased this soap because I suffer from all kinds of acne. Face, back, chest, upper arms, you name it. I have oily skin. I also have a lot of dark spots. I figured I'd switch from my usual unscented Dove bar to something natural and supposedly gentler on my skin, to see if it made any difference. I'll try to sum up my experience. The scent of the bar itself is strong and some of it lingers on your skin, but I personally grew to love it. The bar lasted me just about 2 months by lathering up out of the direct stream of water and making sure the bar stayed dry between each use ($9 bar of soap, gotta take care of it). I found that the soap does seem to leave a bit of film on my skin if I don't scrub and my skin feels a little stiff afterwards, but regardless, it feels refreshed and soft. I just moisturize afterwards and I feel perfect. As far as my acne goes, the soap did little for my dark spots, but I did notice significantly less breakouts and smoother skin. When I did have a breakout, it was usually when I went more than 24 hours without using the soap, but the breakout would be short-lived once I got back to my routine. My oiliness has been greatly reduced as well. All-in-all, I'm really happy with my purchase, and I even decided to order a pound of it in Fugly Soap form! I also just received the Dead Sea Mineral Mud bar and hope to have positive results with that one, as well.

I am not a big fan on natural organic soap due to my skin being really sensitive, and me being lowkey picky with certain smells. But this soap has a nice and not to strong smell that doesn’t suffocate you lol. I was scared how my skin would react as I have been using dove body soap for years and alway get allergic reactions with other body soaps I have tried in the past. But this soap goes on smooth and leave skin feeling smooth and silky. I love this soap bar I have about a week using my almost 2. I have not gotten any allergic reaction and have not gotten itchy or anything. My skin is less dry and more hydrated and overall will be purchasing again and recommending it.

I have previously been using the oatmeal soap formula in this brand on my face for the last 2 years. (The bar lasted a long time because I only use it on my face.) I have aging very sensitive skin that tends to be reddened on my cheeks, nose, and chin area. The oatmeal soap worked well, but my skin was still a little reddened. I can use very little commercial products on my skin without redness & itching. I use Aura Cacia Rosehip oil along with the Sandalwood Jojoba blend on my face after washing it. I am unable to wear any type of foundation, powder or blush products. My skin is very clear & healthy looking except for the slight redness at times. I decided to try this formula when it was time to re-order my facial soap. This cleans really well & leaves my skin soft & very clean feeling. No residue on the skin. My skin has also become noticeably less reddened since I started using this formula. I like this formula better because it is smooth on the skin. The oatmeal formula contained large pieces of oatmeal that were irritating & somewhat scratchy. This formula seems a better fit my skin so far.

Feels so luxurious, doesn’t take much to wash my face (what I wanted it for). Being annoyingly sensitive to smells and having skin sensitivity, here’s my experience after 2wks use. SMELL: labeled “sweet citrus w/floral undertones” is similar to lemongrass, a bit strong but I like it (had I smelled it at a farmer’s market stand, would not have bought, but through the mail even w/strong scent I tried it). MOISTURIZING: feels so rich w/all those oils but after rinsing there’s a slight tightness to my skin, need to apply moisturizer a 2nd time, not the case for other face washes I’ve used. However, my skin doesn’t feel itchy so trade off worth it for now. Bar will last a long time so if it doesn’t work well for my face I’ll use it as a bath bar. I set my soaps on sponges (are cute ones out there), keeps soap dry, use the sponge later w/soap soaked in it so no waste, cleans it, dry it out and use again! No longer using plastic bottled shampoo, conditioner, face wash, or anything I can get in bar form to cut down on plastics!
