Great for houses with pets
This is a constant buy in my house! I have dogs, so this is perfect for washing all my clothes and their blankets! I have very sensitive skin and this laundry sanitizer does not bother me one bit! The smell is subtle and not overwhelming, and it adds an extra layer of clean to all the clothes! The laundry sanitizer is easy to use and takes less than a few seconds to add into each load!

owerful odor removal and sanitizing—great for sensitive users
This is a go-to laundry add-on if you want extra cleanliness beyond detergent—especially for towels, gym clothes, or anything that holds odor. It’s designed to kill 99.9% of bacteria that detergent alone may leave behind, which helps eliminate lingering smells at the source. One of the biggest advantages is that it’s Free & Clear (no fragrance or dyes), making it a great choice for sensitive skin or scent-free households. It’s also 0% bleach, so it’s safe for most fabrics and colors and can even be used in cold water. It’s easy to use—just add it to the rinse cycle or fabric softener compartment—and it works well in both standard and HE machines. On the downside, it’s an extra step in your laundry routine, and since it’s unscented, you won’t get that “fresh laundry smell” some people prefer. It’s also not always necessary for everyday loads unless you’re dealing with odors, bacteria concerns, or high-sweat items. Overall: A highly effective, gentle sanitizer that’s perfect for odor control and sensitive skin—especially useful for workout clothes, towels, or households wanting an extra level of clean.

Good to use
I asked search if this really was good for your clothes. Here was the answer. "Yes, Lysol Laundry Sanitizer offers a real advantage by killing 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria and viruses in cold water without using chlorine bleach.Main Benefits Kills tough germs: It removes bacteria and viruses that regular detergents and cold water can miss.Stops bad smells: It targets bacteria at the source in workout clothes, pet bedding, and thick towels.Safe for colors: It contains zero bleach, so it works safely on most colored and delicate fabrics." So I use it.

My Laundry Has Better Hygiene Than Some People I Know
I never thought I’d be writing a love letter to a laundry sanitizer, but here we are. This Lysol Laundry Sanitizer has become a permanent resident in my laundry room. What I love most is that it keeps clothes, towels, and bedding feeling incredibly fresh and sanitary without punching me in the face with an overpowering fragrance. It’s one of those “clean is clean” smells—fresh, light, and not the kind that follows you around like a perfume counter exploded in your washing machine. I’ve used it on gym clothes, pet blankets, towels, and even that mysterious load of laundry that sat in the washer longer than I’d like to admit. Everything came out smelling great and feeling extra clean. The fact that it’s bleach-free is a huge bonus because I can use it confidently on just about everything. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s helping eliminate odor-causing bacteria while keeping fabrics in great shape. At this point, I’m convinced my laundry is living a cleaner lifestyle than I am. Highly recommend!

I work in healthcare so I don't clean my scrubs without this
The bottle came packaged in a sealed plastic bag with tape around the cap. I noticed a tiny bit of liquid leaking but the bag kept the mess off everything else in my delivery box. I was glad the tape peeled right off without leaving any sticky residue. I work in healthcare (now at a hospital but previously at a dental office) and rely heavily on laundry sanitizer. I refuse to bring germs home to spread to my other clothes via the washing machine. Its lysol so I trust the active ingredients to actually kill the microbes as opposed to me just hoping that all the pathogens rinsed away. I feel like the value is good but this is about what I spend locally and haven't been able to find it cheaper. I also notice a huge difference if I accidentally leave wet clothes sitting in the washer too long. My loads don't get that sour mildew scent when I make sure to add this liquid to the cycle.

Love it
Got this for a hockey gear spa day. Did fully clean the bag and gear with enzyme cleaner first, and didn’t put it in the washer. Super sudsy and no smell. Rinsed great and knowing there is no bacteria/viruses on the bag or gear, at least for when the season kicks off, gives me great peace of mind! Didn’t affect colors or damage the bag or any gear. Would also be great for clothes or other fabric items that need sanitizing. Will likely buy again when it runs out.

Don't use this in the wash cycle
When traveling in my RV, I sometimes do laundry in RV park public laundry rooms. Since laundry soap doesn't kill all bacteria, and I can't bleach colored laundry, I like the idea of using laundry sanitizer. I borrowed a very fragrant type (different brand) and got a rash, so I like the idea of this fragrance-free product. But it's supposed to go in the rinse cycle and/or fabric softener dispenser. The very basic commercial washers don't have any dispensers. There's no rinse cycle indicators, and waiting around for the rinse cycle in an un-air-conditioned laundry room in super-hot climate isn't fun, so I emailed the manufacturer to ask if I can just put this sanitizer in at the start, with detergent. The answer was no, it won't work. I don't grasp the chemistry of that, but as the directions say, it's made to go in the rinse cycle. They did offer an alternative: soak the laundry in sanitizer then wash it. But since its not as much my dirty laundry as the public washer machine's bacteria that concerns me, that strategy might not work. So the only sure option is to guess when its time for the rinse cycle, trudge back to the laundry room, and add the sanitizer then. What kind of chemicals that might or might not leave on my clothes, I don't know. But lesson learned: don't just take the easy road by tossing this sanitizer in with detergent. It won't work. (Withholding one star until they make a sanitizer that will.)

Laundry Sanitizer <3
No scent. No skin irritation. No stains. All around good laundry sanitation and I feel the clothes are sanitized. Especially after being sick, coming back from outside, and animal bathing and grooming. It does the job!

Product works wonderfully.
I suffer from an odour in my oil glands on my scalp, shoulders, and back of my neck. It's an old man smell that some of you may identify with. The odour gets into clothing, hats, pillows and pillow cases, hoodies, etc.. Nothing worked to get that odour out until I tried this Lysol product. This product neutralized the odour completely and returned my items to brand new as far as smell was concerned. This product is free and clear of perfumes and any fragrances. There is a very slight chemical smell to the product. If you use a little too much the chemical smell is present when taken out of the washer, but a lot of that smell evaporates in the dryer, but a bit gets left over when the clothes come out of the dryer- I used two caps for a not very full load of clothing, should have used 11/2 caps or 1 cap instead. Other than that, the product is amazing, you'll really be pleased.
