John Deere Maintenance Kit LG265 for X300 X320 X360

My dad and I both have had John Deere mowers for years. Each year we do the service on them and always use a John Deere service kit. Everything you need is in the box. They are all John Deere products so you know you are using what you mower needs and is recommended. We have never had a problem using one of these kits as everything is made for your mower. From the filters,oil and plugs, all the items included fit and work well making for an easy service. Cost is normally good, especially compared to buying parts individually. You can get aftermarket knock off parts but why would you for something, let's face it, that is not cheap. My mower is 24 years old and still going great and dad just recently purchased a new one after his lasting about the save account of time. I contribute that to the maintenance done everytime its needed and using the proper things to do it with.

The JD dealer wanted over $300.00 to perform the maintenance you can do with this kit for 1/3 of the cost. Everything fit perfectly and I saved the plugs and gas filter for my 100 hour maintenance. As long as you make sure you are buying the right kit for your model, it is a 'no-brainer' if you like to do your own maintenance.

Perfect annual service kit. Comes with everything you need except a socket wrench. Mower runs like brand new after install. Easy enough to do yourself. Highly recommend.

This is a legitimate John Deere kit. I was worried this was going to be a knock off, but it wasn't. Priced cheaper than JD online. Came overnight, no issues all great.

If you are doing a service on your 25.5HP mower engine with this kit, the capacity is 2.2Qt for the engine so you will need some additional 10-30. Other than that slight oversight the kit will get you what you need. Look at your dip stick and some of them say to measure threaded in, and others not. Make sure you use your dipstick correctly. My X590 is a "don't thread in to measure" type.

The John Deere kit LG265 is a great tune up kit. All parts fit well and is a good price compared to the stores.

Delivery was good but quite pricey for what you get

The kit claimed that it would fit my LA 165 mower. However, the air filter was too wide for the machine. Spark plugs and oil filter were fine.
