AGPTEK A02S 16GB MP3 Player, 65 Hours Playback Music Player, Rose Gold

I’ve been using this for about 2 months now and am very happy with my purchase. I take it with me everywhere since it’s super small and can fit just about anywhere. I love that it is virtually weightless so I can clip it to my headphones without it weighing them down. The playback quality is great. The display is very simple but does the trick. The buttons are a bit loud when clicking through the menu but I haven’t had any issues with them sticking. File transfer is super easy. FM radio works great. Overall it’s an incredibly basic device that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I compared this one to a similar device from a different seller and this one is much less cheap-feeling. Highly recommend.

I bought this when my 18 year old Sony Walkman finally died. I have no illusions that this new one is going to last 18 years. Hell, I'm not even going to last 18 years - I'm 74, so this unit will probably outlive me. I have to set the record straight: this MP3 player DOES have a dedicated volume control. I've read some reviews that said it doesn't. There are various models of this and apparently some models the volume is controlled by the menu. But this one definitely has a dedicated volume button on the side. I like that it also has a very positive on/off switch at the bottom. There's no question when this is turned on or off. The menu is pretty simple and self explanatory. I've read reviews about the screen not being very good. I don't know what you expect for a $35 MP3 player. I think it's fine. It's very lightweight which is good for carrying it in a T-shirt pocket or if you have an arm band holder. The case has some sort of almost rubberized coating on it that makes it very easy to grip. It's not slick plastic. I can't comment on battery longevity since I just got this last night but others have said it's pretty good. This thing was instantly recognized by my computer (HP running Windows 11) and I had no trouble dragging and dropping my music files onto it.

Good sound, I just use Sanxir air tube wired headphones for low emf. Great battery life. Great storage. There is no physical, side of device "hold" feature so this is not for a pants pocket. That might be a deal breaker for most unless its chest pocket. I find it annoying but for the price its worth it. I am used to this feature on my Sony 570 voice recorder that doubles as mp3 player, comparing the two is really apples to oranges. Got this device for better battery life while mp3 listening. Its good for sleep listening too. Basically I just listen to binaurals and guided meditations on it. You'll probably be happy with it and vaguely annoyed with needing to keep it from being accidentally button pressed.

I bought this player because they claimed it had 70 hours of battery life. Right out of the box after a full charge, it had 50 hours max. Within two months it's down to 20 hours of playtime between charges. And that's with turning the device off between uses. I use it every night while sleeping to listen to white noise so it's pretty easy for me to track the hours of playtime I'm getting. It is small and very lightweight which is nice, but that's the only good thing I have to say about it. It has the absolute worst response time when pressing a button (six seconds for the play button to respond for example). You will find the song you want, hit play...then wait and wait and hope it registered. If you think you might have hit another button you will have to wait that six seconds to find out if it canceled out the play button or not. Then hit play again and wait another six seconds. I've never experienced a delay like this in anything I've ever owned. I'm pretty sure a toaster from 1970 is more technologically advanced than this thing. There is no volume control on the outside of the device. This wouldn't be such a huge issue if it actually responded to anything you asked it to do when you hit a button to engage the menu. You have to be on the right screen to get the volume to adjust. More often than not it doesn't respond at all or causes the song to pause...which starts the six second wait all over again. Because I listen to this while I sleep this is especially annoying for me. If I need to turn it up to drown out outside noise, I have to be fully awake to get the thing to work because you have to work your way through several screens to get the volume window. Once you do get to the volume window, half the time trying to adjust the volume resets it to a different window and you have to start all over to get it back to the right menu. You can't just reach over and hit the volume button like pretty much every other player I've ever seen. Now I realize I may just have a lemon (well besides the non existant volume button), so I should just talk to customer service which claims to back their product. Yeah...they don't respond. At least not to me. I got the standard "how do you like our product, please give us a review" email that also stated to reply to that email if I had any questions or problems. I told them the problems I was having and a month later...still no response. You want a review? FINE! Here's your one star. I replaced this useless piece of plastic with a sony music player which cost twice as much but is worth EVERY PENNY to not have to deal with this device anymore. The one good thing about having wasted $26 on this was that I will now forever appreciate when any music player just starts playing music immediately when you push play or the novelty of having a volume button. As for the sound quality, that was pretty terrible too when comparing this to the Sony I replaced it with.

This is great for linux, it's just plug and play. From there, you just drag & drop your music. I stopped using my iPhone to play music on for this. It's small & lightweight. Music sounds great, with additional EQ settings for fine tuning. ETA: Took a star off because the shuffle playback feature seems to play some of the tracks over. Out of over 400 tracks, I think I've heard the same 50 since I put them on. Weird issue where this device will not shut off during FLAC playback (could be any other format, but this happened to me durnig a FLAC). This will randomly lock too, and I don't know how to unlock it.

Still going strong. It delivers on every promise. Sound quality and battery life are fantastic! I have own AGPTEK products in the past. i bought this one nearly 7 years ago now. it was my third mp3 player by this company. i love their products. i think this is one of the best mp3 players on the market. sound quality and functionality are amazing for the price. i dont think it can be beat. i run this thing continuously and its still going with no issue after 7 years!!!! i have over 3000 music files on it with more than 3 months of continuous music total playtime. i have expanded it up to 128gb. and with 600 songs on the main player and more than 2000 on the sd card i primarily run it from the card. very rarely does it say it cant read the card. no problem just turn the device off pull out the card put it back in and its fine. my favorite part about this device is the very quick and convenient skip song function it has a lock function but its not needed. just tapping the buttons while jogging or exercising or from my bed is easy and immediately wakes up the device and skips to next songs. very useful. i have used it in excursive bands and worn in pockets doing yard work etc. in my shop it very rarely would press buttons. you'd literally have to be pressed up against something and move around to skip a song or pause. really no big deal. i highly recommend this product. mine has been running for years straight. my room is always full with music. this is the absolute champ that makes that happen! i am honestly truly grateful. its life changing/saving!

I can download folders full of my mp3 music files.. Playback mode allows me to repeat all songs in folder, or play all songs in order, or one song over and over, or all songs in all folders, in order. And this player is nice and loud. ... And sounds pretty decent .

Securely packaged by AGPTEK and boxed by Amazon. Comes fully charged. Dragged and dropped over 50 major classical works in about 15 minutes without incident. Easy and intuitive selection control. Clear and crisp sound through earplugs. Recommend.

My daughter was a long user of the Ruizu MP3 player until recently the button was spoilt. I came across this product as a substitute and found it similar to Ruizu. The main features I was looking for were: (1) long battery life, (2) fuss-free, simple to use and transfer songs, as well as (3) pretty design where possible. This product fulfills the above features really well. The one feature I forgot to check was the availability of speaker mode. This product didn't come with a speaker function which is rather unfortunate as it was one of the frequently used feature of my daughter. But all in all, it's a good buy considering the price.

Vary Good quality and easy to us. I love the on off button.

Funcionou muito bem enquanto estava funcionando kkk, mas comprei ele em agosto do ano passado e, agora em março, ele já deu pau, tinha funcionalidades ótimas, mas realmente apagou de vez, não liga mais, antes ficava travando. Enfim, vou procurar um de outra marca e com Bluetooth
