GreatCo Gallery Series Insert Electric Fireplace, 42-Inch Surround

Completely as advertised, and very pleased! Installation was simple - took 10 minutes MAX. Easy to assemble the surrounding, and the entire unit slid into place with ease.Simple to operate, and looks AMAZING. Quiet, realistic, and a lot of warmth.Love it!

It’s a cheap option to fill up a fireplace opening. Looks super fake in any mode, pretty cheesy. Blows some warm air but not going to heat a room in the winter without another main source of heat. Smells funky on heat mode. Trim is thin flimsy metal. Get what you pay for. Only reason I used it was to fill a rather large fireplace opening, it’s the largest insert I could find with the trim installed. Remote was missing.

Exactly as advertised. Home owner installed in less than 1.5 hrs. Very quiet and puts out nice heat. Adds perfect ambiance to our living room.

The media could not be loaded. We de-activated a wood-burning fireplace, for safety reasons, but we wanted the look and feel of a fireplace. The existing opening was about two inches too narrow for the surround, so I built a frame to hold it a little proud of the fireplace stones. They varied greatly in shape and depth. The opening was a bit too tall, so I had to add a piece of wood, painted flat black, so that the top of the insert would stay out, like the sides.Someone asked about a video. When the room is dark, my iPhone is fooled into creating a fuzzy image, so I made the video in the daytime. It shows the realistic "flames" (I still don't understand how they do it!), but some reflection as well. The still photo is a pretty good representation.We have another fireplace to do, and I'll use the same product! This unit QUIETLY puts out heat with a fan, which makes it act more like a real fireplace.

Works and looks great!

Just put it in place and started it up. Easy to put together in just minutes. Fit with room to spare with great coverage and fired right up with just the look of a fire or with heat.
