Great for a mocha coffee
This is my go to hot chocolate for making mocha coffee with a splash of gingerbread syrup. ( 1 scoop chocolate powder, 1 taylors coffee bag + dribble of monin syrup) No milk added. I struggle to digest milky hot chocolates, but this is ideal. I use it everyday and a tub lasts me a while. I would recommend this.

Delicious
Ordered this Maya Hot Chocolate based on other reviews and am very glad we did. It is easy to use and totally delicious... the large tin size also makes it excellent value. Highly recommended.

VERY BIG TIN (2kg), so excellent value for money
Assiming I can consume the entire 2kg of Maya Dark Chocolate Drink, before it goes out of date, then excellent value for money. Even if I get through only HALF of the tin before expiry date it would still represent good value for money (compared to 'Green & Blacks', or some other high price brand supplied in amounts under 400g), & tastes just as good too, since it TASTES (currently) VERY GOOD, but is EXTREMELY SWEET at the same time as being VERY 'dark' in flavour too - though only a little too sweet for me - so definately no extra sugar needed. Add a little hot milk (or water first) & stir well, before adding 'remainder'. Lovely. Very good to go with a 'frothy, milky coffee' with 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons of chocolate powder added (likely actually 4 'teaspoons' if you heap them too much!). But remember MIX WELL FIRST - with a little HOT water or a little HOT milk, before adding 'the remainder' of HOT MILK, otherwise you will ends up with lots of lumps THAT WILL NOT MIX PROPERLY (using a spoon) - you will probably need a 'liquidiser or some machine, that may still NOT 'do the job'. NO EXTRA SUGAR NEEDED - I can see some tiny amounts of 'sugar crystals' spread throughout the chocolate powder. I keep the tin in the fridge for logevity.

High quality powder with rich velvety flavour
This is high quality cocoa - we are using it for flavouring deserts and home-made ice creams - you could easily smell and taste the difference - it has a very rich velvety flavour to it. Once you tried it - it is hard to go back to cheap supermarket brand stuff. Interestingly, when churning ice cream, you could find a thin layer of pure chocolate around the edges produced as the high-cocoa content powder is being churned into creamy ice cream substrate.

Tasty but expensive
I've tried this and the Maya Luxury Hot Chocolate version. I much prefer the Dark but I'm baffled by people saying it's good value. It's a good quality product but it's not a drinking cocoa, as it has a ton of sugar added and it's not in the same orbit as the typical luxury dark chocolates which you can buy in the supermarket. If you bought the top name brand cocoa powder and added sugar in a 3:1 ratio to get a similar sort of mix then the name brand is about a third cheaper even when bought in much smaller pack sizes. The reviewed product doesn't have the characteristic bitter taste of a real luxury dark chocolate drink, but frankly that's not my preference. In a chocolate bar, absolutely, but not in a drink - in my opinion. Dissolves easily, just remember to premix with a small amount of milk/water first to work the lumps out.
