🌟 Dive into Flavor: The Sea's Best-Kept Secret Awaits!
Japanese Sea Grapes, also known as Umibudo, are a premium delicacy from Okinawa, Japan. These 100% natural, dehydrated seaweed pearls are packed in saltwater brine and expand to approximately 1 pound when soaked. Vegan, raw, and caffeine-free, they offer a unique burst of ocean flavor, making them a versatile ingredient for gourmet dishes or a healthy snack.

Delicious, and worth the price!
These came quickly and packaged nicely; a sealed bag within a bag, inside of a box. These are not salty at all, just follow the directions. The taste is very mild, but exactly like the ocean. My first bite reminded me of swimming at the beach! I dipped mine in a soy/rice vinegar/sugar mixture and it complemented the sea grapes perfectly. The texture and pop when you bite down is the best part about these. For anyone who is a sensory eater like me, I would definitely recommend it for the tactile experience alone! These might seem expensive, but I took the time to read about their cultivation and farming. These are grown on a relatively small scale in Japan, not mass produced. Other countries along the Pacific coast are beginning to farm them as well, so maybe someday they’ll become more accessible and affordable for regular eating.

Made My Daughter Sick
My daughter asked me to order these. She consumed them and within two hours was very sick with gastrointestinal symptoms. That lasted a few hours. One can never know but since that is the only thing she consumed in that window, this culprit seems likely.

The SMEEELLL
Wow just wow. The smell after it’s rehydrated is pungent. My son and hubby tried them. Neither could eat a whole strand. My hubby said it tasted like pond water with a crawfish in it while being ocean water saltiness. Would be fun to do as a challenge though.

Very salty
I like how it makes a crunch noise, but it is way too salty. Plus either I'm reacting to what is going on for people recently or eating a lot of this is making me feel a little sick to my stomach which honestly is not that bad to me as long as I don't throw up which I haven't. It was nice trying this out from a YouTube ASMR video though I just know I will not buy it again because I just don't feel crazy about it and plus when I start eating it again I grab something to drink fast because of how much salt is in it(overboard).

Amazing! Already bought more!
I soaked these in a bowl of cold water 3xs. I was so surprised how amazingly fun these are to eat. The pop is fun! The taste is like a popping lettuce. If you want it to taste more salty don't soak it as many times. I made a small dish of soy sauce and sirachi mixed together(try that sauce mixture with your edamame too its sooo yummy!) It was AMAZING! I highly recommend! Great alone or with sushi!

Seems off?
I keep seeing photos of these and they look beautiful and bright green. These came brown and they smell like low tide. Taste gross.

I like them plain but I made a sauce and it turned it up a notch
I loved them plain...but ya’ll I made this sauce it is tamari, ume plum vinegar, mirin, cayenne, and toasted sesame seeds if ya’ll like spice definitely give this sauce a try the seeds cling to the grapes but it is something about this combo that is sooo scrumptious....I find myself saying man I wish I had some more sea grapes...so I will be ordering more...even my co-workers love them...Sea grapes are my new favorite snack
