Delicious, and worth the price!
These came quickly and packaged nicely; a sealed bag within a bag, inside of a box. These are not salty at all, just follow the directions. The taste is very mild, but exactly like the ocean. My first bite reminded me of swimming at the beach! I dipped mine in a soy/rice vinegar/sugar mixture and it complemented the sea grapes perfectly. The texture and pop when you bite down is the best part about these. For anyone who is a sensory eater like me, I would definitely recommend it for the tactile experience alone! These might seem expensive, but I took the time to read about their cultivation and farming. These are grown on a relatively small scale in Japan, not mass produced. Other countries along the Pacific coast are beginning to farm them as well, so maybe someday they’ll become more accessible and affordable for regular eating.

Fun but pricey
It was my first time trying so I don’t really know how it really supposed to taste but it was alright. It Didn’t taste like what I thought it would Bc it has no flavor and it’s kinda expensive. But overall, it was a fun experience.

Unique snack / last batch was bad.
Reminds me of my visit to Japan. Pairs well with sushi. Price is high, but understandable due to preserving and limited supply. Update: the latest batch I got was off color and tasted bad. These are not returnable even if defective, so will not buy again

Superb taste but pretty expensive
My favorite, it’s there in my top 5 but we could get this for cheaper price. I like that it is not as salty as the others but saltiness can be fix after rinsing in cold water. The price is just too much I guess. I can get the same 1lb seagrapes for 6$ in some Asian stores. I would still buy this online but not as often.

Very salty
I like how it makes a crunch noise, but it is way too salty. Plus either I'm reacting to what is going on for people recently or eating a lot of this is making me feel a little sick to my stomach which honestly is not that bad to me as long as I don't throw up which I haven't. It was nice trying this out from a YouTube ASMR video though I just know I will not buy it again because I just don't feel crazy about it and plus when I start eating it again I grab something to drink fast because of how much salt is in it(overboard).

Amazing! Already bought more!
I soaked these in a bowl of cold water 3xs. I was so surprised how amazingly fun these are to eat. The pop is fun! The taste is like a popping lettuce. If you want it to taste more salty don't soak it as many times. I made a small dish of soy sauce and sirachi mixed together(try that sauce mixture with your edamame too its sooo yummy!) It was AMAZING! I highly recommend! Great alone or with sushi!

Seems off?
I keep seeing photos of these and they look beautiful and bright green. These came brown and they smell like low tide. Taste gross.

Curiosity Satisfied
Heard about these and wanted to just taste them so splurged on a box for new year's day with the family. One box makes a goodly amount once reconstituted. They're very cute, crunchy and taste just like seaweed (duh). However, I don't think they are worth $25 so we're just going to leave them in the sea and not buy them again.

Super expensive and terrible taste and smell.

It tastes disgusting and is way to much money. I think it should be like 4 bucks.

The sea grapes were brown. There was a strong smell of sea water even after washing it thoroughly and because you have to soak it in water for 10 mins the flavour is completely gone. I am quite disappointed. With the price of $29 I was expecting a higher quality product. I will never buy this again.
