It has wavy plastic bristles, but they're not harsh. They do an effective job of detangling. The brush is quite large in size so not a handy little thing that you can pop into your bag or anything, but it's a good paddle brush to have at home for regular brushing. Quality is good and the colour is attractive as well. Good for people with normal to thick hair but not effective for people with scanty hair as the brush is quite big and wide.

Good size and very convenient to use too...love the rainbow colours....it's as beautiful as it is useful.very happy with the purchace...thanku Amazon...the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because one of the bristles was missing.Otherwise everything was just perfect.

This brush is sturdy, bristles are soft and the curved design helps detangle really quick. The wooden handle and body is strong and provides a good grip. It looks very smart too

I have used the same product in Vega brand ( multicoloured wavy bristles), and i loved it. Had been using vega brush since two years but finally it broke from neck and i had to throw it away. I was looking for the same product but couldn’t find one. Then I came across this one and the good thing about this is, it is made up of single wooden piece so no chance of breaking from neck. Two stars less because its too big and not for travel. Also one bristle strand was missing and the glue is visible. I hope it doesn’t come out. Overall its good.
