Is it hard for kids to open the lid if we pack hot food (due to pressure buildup)?

i love this LunchBots Thermal, its the best Thermal i ever owned. Lid is easy to open. I haven't notice any pressure buildup.

Do you have to pre heat it hot water, prior to use?

No, we do not recommend preheating with hot water.

Do you have the same stuff on a wider lid for kids ?I am looking for the inside cap with no plastic

Yes we have thermal LB-THERMAL-AQUA-16W

Is the outside covering with the dots removable?

Hi there! The sleeves are removable though we recommend leaving them attached. We make a 16oz Thermal without the raised dots and sleeves, so please check out the other version if you don't want the sleeve on the container.
