Blows the standard brick ramens out of the water. The noodles taste more like fresh noodles and the seasoning is spot on. I lived in Japan for almost 4 years so I know a bit about ramen. And for instant ramen this stuff is great.

These are so much better than the usual ramen from the grocery. I ordered these because they are sometimes hard to find in the store. The price was the same that I found at a big-box store, but this had the added value of delivery to my door.

I saw this "premium" version of Maruchan’s ramen and was intrigued. I used to actually enjoy their inexpensive ramen back in the day, but now that my palate's a bit more refined as an adult, it's more of a I’m broke and need food type of ramen. I thought I would see what they could do with a higher budget though. It’s okay. As in a solid 5/10 "meh." Not great, not terrible, just unremarkable. I think part of what held it back was that it only came with one liquid sauce packet. No veggie packet. For a gold or more premium line I was expecting just a little more. I added my own veggies and an egg, which helped, but still it was just meh. The noodles themselves were certainly a step up from their cheaper line of ramen, but they're still not going to win any awards. Overall I just don't see them being worth it. You can buy a pack of Nongshim for about the same cost and at least get one (some times two) flavor packets, some dried veggies, often with a little bit of dehydrated protein, and better noodles. I don't regret trying it, and I’ll still eat the other 4 that came in the pack (I hate wasting food), but it's not something I plan on re-purchasing.

Absolutely amazing!!! Has a deep rich flavor and bouncy noodles. It's great with add ins, but also good on its own. So if you want a lazy meal, this is a great option. High sodium, but that's to be expected with instant ramen.

So if you like a thicker, rounder, not curly noodle, with a full-flavored but not spicy broth, this is for you! I personally prefer Taiwanese ramen (thinner, flatter, curly noodles, and lots of adventurous vegetable flavors), but of its kind this is excellent. I wouldn't say it's fine restaurant quality but it's better than "beats the 6 for $1 at the supermarket." Definitely street food cart quality! Be advised that even though the flavor is mild, a not-unpleasant foody odor will linger, probably due to the delicious umami lent by bonito in the liquid broth packet. It's nice while eating it, but still, you won't want to have this in a closed room that, for example, has all your clothes in it.
