I wanted a more sustainable alternative to some plastic bento boxes I had received (but never used) long ago. The plastic ones had been too bulky to fit into my lunch bag. Finally, I got around to buying these boxes, and they're pretty much everything I'd hoped they would be. More compact, more sustainable materials - exactly what I wanted. The only thing I'd caution people on is these boxes are not dishwasher safe. You have to hand wash them after every use. Just an FYI.

Was just disappointed with a prior lunch conversation (couldn’t handle all my food.) I picked this box up and couldn’t be happier. Houses a nice size samich or baked potato. It’s pretty hipster with the rubber band and cutting board lid but it functions super well, utensils are held well with the rubber band. It was a little pricey but functions great.

The only problem with this item is the relative I gave it to keep sending me gorgeous pics of his lunch in it. He is a very happy lunch toter now. The item looks and felt as I expected, durable and up for the job.

The box looks nice but looking at it in person, there’s nothing special about it to justify the high price. The lid just sits loosely on the box so the strap is the only thing that holds it on. If the lid fit snugly in the silicone rim of the box, I would’ve considered keeping it. Also, none of it is dishwasher safe, not even the stainless steel box. I didn’t think this was made clear by the online item description.

It comes with a little inner silicone container AND I can put vegetables and other snacks in it and then have my sandwich, wrap, or salad off to the side. black+blum really makes some of THE BEST lunch carriers. I can’t wait to get back to work and eat my lunch out of it.

Very nice size, though I could want it a little bigger. It's so fun to use and nice looking. The top is a plate or cutting board.

Fantastic and beautiful product.

I really like the product and am interested in the others they have, but the bamboo lid split and has splinters. I think for the price, the lid should still be usable. I’ve only used it a few times and that happened the first. The base of the box is quality and easily cleaned. The lid does give me cause to purchase other items.

Sono molto soddisfatta. Apprezzo il fatto che sia di materiali resistenti. Il tagliere di bambù si sfilaccia leggermente già dal secondo utilizzo, ma tutto sonnato è ottimo, perché non ho avuto alcuna perdita di liquidi.

This is a good sized, large stainless steel lunch box ideal for the longer walk and will take a large filled roll and an apple and side fruit, ideal for your summer hiking, very light weight. Thank you.

I use this lunchbox daily for my lunch at work and it is fantastic! The quality is superb and the wooden top and lasted many washes, as I did have concerns after hearing other brands' wooden tops begin to disintegrate. The additional compartment is also helpful for items such as trail-mix, or it can be left out if your sandwich is very big! I have had this for over a year now and haven't had to order any replacement parts and it is still going strong.

This box is the ideal size for one of the single portion salad dishes available from supermarkets. The movable divider section can take some grapes along with some nuts. The lid is bamboo so doubles as a chopping surface if required. The included strap keeps the box securely closed. Very easy to clean.
