**Q: can the backpack be cleaned in the washer?**
A: no wipe with a damp cloth and I let it air dry

**Q: will it fit under the airplane seat?**
A: I have a standard backpack also which does fit under most airline seats but this backpack is at least 25% larger than the standard backpack & almost certainly would have to be placed in the overhead unless it's partially empty.  It's actually a fair bit larger than I expected but I love it. Great quality, & has lots of lovely pockets.

**Q: Has anyone had issues carrying this bag on a flight? I notice the metal enforced handle. Want to see if anyone has had any issues before I try**
A: In the description "exclusively designed for air travel. That's why I purchased it.

**Q: How sturdy are the straps? i am a field service tech and need to carry some tools and my laptop. i have an another brand that didn't last too long.**
A: The carry Handle actually has a metal cable running through it. Shoulder straps are thick and padded. Hope this helps
