Great Scale
This is a great kitchen scale. Unlike my previous (no name) scale, this one is easy to turn off and on and zero out, and it sits level. The battery is also lasting well. I should have upgraded to this Kitchenaid scale ages ago, the brand name is well worth it in this case.

Yesss! Perfect bread Everytime
I was using the scoop and sweep method for flour, but didn't always yield the proper amount. I use this to measure all my baking ingredients. I even use to to measure the risen dough for splitting in to equal parts. Now that I have this scale all my breads, rolls, and pizza dough turn out perfect.I like how easy it is to use. I really like the knob feature instead of flat buttons. All you have to do is place your bowl on it, press the button and you can tare it out. It's a perfect size for home baking, light weight, and the value to dollar makes it worth it.I highly recommend having this in your kitchen to get proper measurements. I have several sets of measuring cups and spoons, it's amazing how far off they are. With this KitchenAid you get accurate measurements from a reputable brand.King Arthur baking website has an excellent and accurate weight conversion chart for almost any ingredient if you are unsure the amount of cups and tsp/tbls to grams for flour and such.

Weigh to Go, KitchenAid!
This sleek little scale is my new sous chef—it’s precise, stylish, and handles everything from a pinch of spices to a pile of flour. Switching between ounces, grams, and liquid measurements is so easy, it feels like magic. The glass surface is a breeze to clean, and the 11-pound capacity means it can handle the weight of my baking experiments (and my snack portion “control”).4/5 stars—because it’s the perfect measure of form and function. The accuracy can sometimes fluctuate, but overall great experience so far!

I don’t know how I survived without one!
I purchased the KitchenAid KQ908 Glass Surface 11 Pound Capacity Digital Kitchen and Food Scale to help with bulk meat splitting and also to help with baking. I’ve used it for so much more. This scale is so easy to operate!! It has an LCD screen that’s large enough I can even read it from a distance. The battery that’s in it now is the one that came with it and I use the scale multiple times a week so the battery life I’d say is very good. It’s a very durable scale even having a glass top. I’ve had it tip over (stands on its side when stored) and it still functions perfectly and no cosmetic damage either. You can quickly switch from grams to pounds to ounces, etc with the turn of the dial and a simple press and hold of the dial recalibrates the scale. I truly don’t know how I’ve survived 40+ yrs in the kitchen without a scale before now!! This thing is wonderful and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to step up their game in the kitchen!

Broken after one month.
One month after purchase...doesn't work. Kitchen Aid website says model number not recognized. Frustrating.Update: the company that makes this is NOT Kitchen Aid. Kitchen Aid just puts their name on it.It is 'Lifetime Brands'. And it costs more to send the defective item back (at MY expense) and wait 4-6 weeks for a replacement than simply buying a new one. Of course I'm never buying a kitchen aid (Lifetime Brands) one again!Dear XXXX,Thank you for contacting KitchenAid.We apologize for the problem that you experienced with your item. Our Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care.
