Works as advertised, but takes bit of practice to properly position it so it holds my boat away from shore. For my situation, I need two anchors. I would recommend this product.

This has been a game changer. Works great with my fluke anchor. It allows me to park my boat off the shore and holds it securely so I don't have to worry if it's banging into the shore or floating off. Highly recommend.

We use an anchor buddy for scuba diving in the ocean. We moor or anchor with the anchor buddy attached to our 15' RIB, and it really makes it more comfortable to sit on the boat, as it stops some of the "whipping" from waves, wind, and current. I used to do a safety line, but after two years or so, the anchor buddy has held up well. We've also used it to tow our dinghy in a pinch, but I wouldn't do that regularly. The exception is the hardware. I've replaced the clips on both sides with quality stainless hardware, as the included clips were rusting significantly. A little disappointing for the price. We got a bright orange one, which makes it nice to see the line in the water, and got one for our buddy as a gift this Christmas. Would recommend with 5 stars if it weren't for the hardware.

Great product. Just what we needed to be able to anchor our boat offshore. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Anchor Buddy in advance of a trip to the Florida Keys. We had a variety of excursions planned with our 19' Key West center console bay boat and it worked very well in each application. Attaching from boat to buoy made snorkeling stops easy. It also worked well from boat to anchor for shallow water fishing stops. I also used it, along with a longer anchor line and Danil SS knotless anchor hooks, for anchoring in deeper water (50+ feet) and the Anchor Buddy worked well as a shock absorber. My only critique: The SS anchor shackel is still clean but the spring loaded hook rusted very quickly and will soon get replaced. Note this is still a five star review as the Anchor Buddy all but eliminated one of the more painful parts of boating.

this rope lost it's bungee / stretch after the first use with my boat (and not even in windy conditions). 2 days later the spring on the clip broke, rendering the whole product useless. I would definitely not buy this again, and would love to get a refund.

The clip end was a bit light weight so I put a stainless steel carabiner type clip on it

Use this with a box anchor to hold a 23' comp boat and it works awesome. Waves/rollers come by and no longer will jar the anchor loose from the bottom.

These are the best tool when anchoring your boat for the day/or night mooring. Set your anchor off shore and still be able to pull your boat into shore with-out breaking anchor loose. Especially great for days at the beach when getting people & gear on and off the boat .

Am very impressed with the Anchor Buddy - I use it with my jetski and it's awesome. I fitted a float, which makes it even more effective.

Seems like a great product, but they could have used Stainless Steel fittings, especially for saltwater use!
