This was a gift and the person loved it. They are going to use it on their dresser as a ring holder. Amazing price.

Pretty but like another review stated, it really does not illuminate without setting it on a lighted display base. I was hoping for more. UPDATE- I am using the tea light candles either the clear little cup and it works much better even without the additional light underneath.

I luv this votive candle holder. It is beautiful and sturdy. It shimmers bright when lit.

This Swarovski shimmer tea light holder (clear crystals) is beautiful to look at and heavy weighted. The little crystals sparkle from surrounding light, but I found they do not disperse the light from the candle onto table surfaces as other styles of tea light holders; the little crystals trap the light and do not disperse the light. Nevertheless, the holder is so attractive that over time I purchased five of them as gifts for others, and paired each with either a box or little sachet of beeswax tea lights. The recipients loved the holder and tea lights. Beware: Try not to drip or splatter any candle wax onto the little crystals, because it will be nearly if not entirely impossible to remove that wax without damaging the tiny crystals or the entire holder. Also note: wanting to remove spilled wax from inside the tea light holder, I placed it in the freezer (to harden the wax for subsequent, easy pop-out removal), but left it in the freezer too long. While the hardened wax from inside the holder popped-out easily, the entire holder developed a deep crack from one side to the other, and was no longer safe to use so we trashed it. I have since replaced it with the same exact holder. Live and learn.
