HJ HALL Classic HJ77 Men's Long Knee Length Socks

I have been wearing these socks for many years and the quality has always been very good. However I purchased 3 pairs in February and a further 3 pairs in July, I have to say that the quality isn't what it used to be.All 6 pairs have now worn into holes around the toe area which is hugely disappointing as socks that have been 'in service' for much longer are still as good as ever.As I have no problem at all with the online retailer that they were purchased from, their service was excellent! I decided to email H.J Hall (now Pantherella Group) to ask if they'd changed the way the socks were manufactured, explaining what the issue was. I was instructed to return all 6 pairs with covering letter to their Customer Service who in turn would ask their Quality Control department to test and report back. Good service there then, or so I thought! This was done in mid- September and I heard nothing for 5 weeks apart from an acknowledgement that they'd received them.At this point (5 weeks on), I emailed to ask if there had been any progress and was told that they were still waiting for QC to respond. A further week past (now 6 weeks) and I again asked for an update, same answer came back. 7 weeks had past and still nothing so I emailed again, stating that I didn't feel that QC were keeping their side of the Customer Service bargain, adding that if I hadn't received a response by 8 weeks then I'd write directly to their MD/CEO and make them aware that I'd been waiting for a considerable length of time for a response. Yes, you guessed it, within an hour I received a response with a very lame 'report' blaming everything from the way the socks had been washed or my toenails being too long or I was not wearing them with suitable footwear!!! Strange as the other socks that I had purchased over many years were still going strong!It was obvious that they weren't prepared to discuss the matter any further, I therefore asked them to return my 6 pairs by return. Within another hour, I received an email stating that the sock had been returned, giving me details of the carrier etc.I would not buy products from H.J. Hall (Pantherella Group) again as the quality is shocking and the way they treat customers is appalling!Shame 'cos I'm still getting great service from those I purchased in the past!

THESE LARGER LONG SOCKS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DIFFICUT TO FIND, I AM SO PLEASED WITH THEM ,HAVE ORDERED MORE,AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THEY ARE ONLY AVAILALABLE IN BLACK, OTHER COLOURS WOULD BE GOOD

I am only six foot high, I have big feet, but not so big a knee sock should come half way up my leg. Six inches longer would be a knee sock.

They appear to be ok. They fit fine. They've only been worn once. Not yet washed so I'll know more when they are.
