Turtle Wax Color Magic Ultra Shades of Blue New Formula Colored Car Polish Cleans

Brand new BMW X3 dark blue paint and already clear coat scratches. Having a dark color you get clear coat scratches just looking at it. I found this does not eliminate scratches but colors the white clear coat scratches to blue clear coat scratches. You have to get twice as close to see the scratches , about 18 inches. So standing over it the paint looks brand new. This wax gives your finish a wet and even finish look. The biggest perk is hiding the scratches from the black shiny plexiglass they put inside and outside of cars ( big mistake) nowadays. Once you stop using this wax , or soap up your vehicle you will see the the clear coat scratches all over again. So buy another bottle if you run out. This wax is easy to apply. Even putting it on with a moist micro fiber towel to dilute the wax it works just as well and buffs off instantly. The moral of the story ... buy a white vehicle.

My husbands car is a 14 year old Camry. It runs great but the dark blue metallic paint has many chips and scratches, especially on the hood. We did our best to touch up the larger chips and later used this blue wax product... not expecting much but we were very impressed by the outcome. The hood looks shiny and the paint sparkles. Most small chips and scratches are invisible. Great product!

I have a swirl pattern of scratches on the hood of my pickup. I've tried several products to improve the looks but nothing has done much good. This made the scratches less noticeable but the scratches are still easily visible. There is an improvement but still a way to go for the scratches to be invisible. If you have bad scratches, this will improve the area but not clear it up. I would recommend the product based on the amount it did improve the spot.

Just got done using product for the first time. Goes on real easy, and comes off easy. Garage is about 62 degrees if that makes a difference. Applied it to a Kona Blue Mustang, color was fine. BUT- make sure it doesn't stray off the target area. I have white stripes as well, it wants to color those immediately. Mostly came off, but I didn't let it dry. Leaves a nice shine, I think it fixed most of the swirls. Will use it again next time, hope that gets them all.

Mazda 3 2010 with severely oxidized clear coat. Tried acrylic spray 3 summers ago. It helped, but this summer peeled like a bad sunburn. With oxidized clear coat still bubbling, and some touch up paint, used 4.5" grinder with nylon wheel 400 grit and very light touch. Hand sand with 400 grit doesn't work. Got lots of swirl marks. See pic. Applied 2 coats of this colored wax. Uniformity a little better, bluer, but not much. See other pic.

Amazing line of colored waxes from turtle wax. Easy to use and covered thousands of noticable scratches in my black 09 accord. So awesome to see the color look all but perfect again. I never thought black paint could look so good. I went on to buy the blue and the white colored waxes for my other cars and was impressed again. It's like getting an expensive paint job all for a couple hours of work. Do it, you won't regret it.

This product was recommended to me by a high quality detail shop. Their next appointment was three months out! I did us a clay bar to remove debris so I would not scratch it into the car. This step is very important. They recommended 4-5 drops of baby shampoo in distilled water and keep the car and the clay very wet. Then I used a buffer with two terry covers. On for putting the blue wax on and one for taking it off. I generally like working with two buffers but only had one available. It did greatly minimize minor and moderate scratches and the car was super smooth and water repellent. It says it lasts for 20 washes but that depends on if the car is garaged or not.

A decent wax, like regular turtle wax. Goes on easy comes off easy. Works well to diminish scratches, fills them in with the color of the wax, where regular wax would show up white. I have used the black and now the blue on a 2017 Civic. In my opinion, worth the money.
