The truck seems to have a bit more power, but that may either be wishful thinking or the sound made during acceleration makes it seem faster. It did help gas mileage slightly. I installed it with the stock "off road" air cleaner box with a K&N flat filter. The truck has a cat back exhaust installed and used to be pretty loud at all rpms, it growled below 2,000 rpm and droned at highway speeds. Now the growl is there albeit smoother and the drone is basically vanished, so much nicer on the freeway.
