XBrand 27" LED Mist Indoor Floor Fountain, Freestanding Water Feature with Inline Control, Aromatherapy, Glass & Metal, Blue

This fountain is absolutely beautiful. It produces an impressive mist and gives the room a soft, relaxing glow. I originally purchased the same model for my office back in 2013, and the only reason I’m replacing it now is because it was accidentally broken during an office move. The fountain is very durable and well-made. When installed correctly, there are no leaks, and the mist output is consistently strong. I used my previous one five days a week for more than eight hours a day. Over the years, I only had to replace the light/mister unit a couple of times—it lasted about five years before needing a new one, which is excellent in my opinion. The only minor downside is that the newer replacement mister doesn’t allow you to select a single color like the original version. However, the rotating colors are still beautiful, and the light itself lasts a very long time. Overall, this fountain is a wonderful purchase for daytime or nighttime use (absolutely beautiful at night), with exceptional mist performance and long-term durability. Highly recommended.

I bought this to replace my circa 1998 concrete 3-tier table fountain, which I was using to put a little moisture in the air in the kitchen, where my houseplants are growing. I stumbled upon this fountain, and chose it because it looks both gorgeous and as if it would take up even less room than my old table sized fountain. Got it, unpacked it, it was a breeze to put together. It has an on/off switch on the cord, which is so much better than having to unplug the unit entirely. It gave off a lot of mist , the colors are a beautiful, rich shade of green-aqua-blue....And unfortunately, there should have been a red color as well . A few of the tiny bulbs were out. The item was otherwise working so well that I really considered just keeping it, but I ultimately decided to return the defective model and replace it with the same product. But then I discovered that Canary has, for the same price as this unit, an otherwise identical model with a remote control! So I bought that one, which arrived today. The new unit was up and running in about 2-3 minutes flat, all the colors are working great, as is the remote, there's 16 different color features for blending colors, having only one stationary color ,having no color, 9 different mist settings....Unfortunately, there is no green color. This one is blue-red-yellow, not blue-red-green....And the green on the other unit really was a gorgeous shade of deep emerald, especially when it was running in an otherwise darkened room.Sigh.... I have tried to give the cons (no remote, no green) and the pros (everything else!) about both units. A remote is great, but an on/off switch on the cord is still pretty darn convenient. Both are quiet, colorful, and give off a lot of mist. According to my pocket humidity tester, these units raise the moisture in the air percentage in their proximity from 39-40% to 44-45%. No idea of exact range, but I have placed my unit in the middle of a large credenza, on which I have 10 herbs in pots growing. I believe it has enough range to cover that space, and the tester seems to confirm this. Hopefully that'll be enough to keep my poor plants happy until they can go outside again. I highly recommend either model, and I will probably wind up buying that floor stand model for the living room. The plants in there deserve a little more moisture too. :-)

The stand is constructed of aluminum tubes within a larger tube with 8 legs to hold it up and hold the bowl. The "tubes within a tube" are offset, so the legs are wonky and angled in different directions once they're screwed together, ensuring it will never sit level or come close to 90° between legs above or below. The legs are aluminum tubes with indentations on the assembly points so that the screws can be wedged between the indentation. Since it's cockeyed, everything is angled everywhere except straight into/away from the assembly junction. On that alone I would give this one star. It's actually worse than that, though. The diffuser/light system is defective - perhaps a problem only with this one unit I purchased, but that is unlikely, having read the other reviews. The diffuser doesn't work and flashes red and blue lights continuously that will not stop flashing without unplugging the unit. The "manual" (assembly + instructions + warranty) is a whopping 2 whole pages, front and back, with one page devoted to how to replace the ceramic disk when it inevitably fails. The company website still has sample data on it and no mention of this product except an FAQ item to contradict what the 2-page instructions say about adding salt. I suspect the flashing lights are an error code of some kind, but I'm not going to waste any more time on this junk.

Overall this is a beautiful fountain. It is larger than expected (width of the bowl, not the height which is typical for a nightstand). LED colors are very nice and the glass blue bowl and lid are also very nice. Installation instructions were not helpful with respect to the fountain and LED lighting system. Orientation wasn't visible or mentioned (the lights go up, the flatter part with what appear to be vents go down, there is no securing, it sort of sits a bit cockeyed near the center of the bowl). The fountain unit produces a lot of heat, it may not have a motor, touching to figure out operation it got my son and myself slightly burned. Assembly was easy enough, aside from the fountain unit. Our experience is no mist yet, but water flows. The unit turns off after the water level is too low for the fountain "steamer" to operate. As steam seems to be the method of moving water, my guess is atmospheric or other conditions in our home at this time may be affecting the fogging affect. Even without fog, it is a very nice unit.

I had a mixed experience with this product, but ultimately, my faith in the brand was restored thanks to their customer service. Like a love affair gone sour, I fell head over heels for this product when I first got it. It seemed perfect, until, just 30 days in, the Mister stopped working. Naturally, I was disappointed, and it felt like the end of a beautiful romance. However, I must say, it's not just the product that makes a company great, it's how they handle issues that truly matter. When I contacted XBrand's customer service about the problem, I was initially informed that I'd have to shoulder the $10.00 shipping cost for the replacement part, as my request was just outside the 30-day free shipping window for part replacements. At first, I was a bit taken aback by this policy. It seemed rather inflexible considering my product malfunctioned just outside the 30-day mark, but well within the 1-year warranty period. I couldn't help but think that they should make an exception. However, after a closer look at their limited 1-YEAR WARRANTY verbiage, it did seem like they were following their stated policy. I was still disappointed and expressed my thoughts to their customer service representative. But here's where XBrand really shines: They recognized my disappointment and frustration, and their representative went the extra mile to keep me as a satisfied customer. They not only replaced the part but did so without charging me the $10.00 shipping fee, as a gesture of goodwill. This act of exceptional customer service completely turned my experience around. They listened to my concerns, acknowledged the inconvenience, and took steps to rectify the situation. This level of care and commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. In the end, while my initial infatuation with the product may have soured, my admiration for XBrand's customer service has only grown stronger. They didn't just fix my Mister; they mended my trust in the brand. For that reason, I'm more than happy to give them a favorable review. In a world where customer service can be hit or miss, XBrand proved that they are willing to go above and beyond to make things right for their customers. That's something worth celebrating.

If you are getting this as a humidifier, don't. Testing this out I placed it in a room that was sitting around 28% relative humidity and it would sometimes get up to 29-30%, but that would be it. I still had to go out and get a traditional humidifier to make any impact. Overall the look of the bowl is nice. The quantity of mist is fairly limited, but that is probably due to the low humidity in the air around it. The main drawback with this item is the stand. It is very flimsy and not well thought out. Just barely bumping into the fountain can knock it over. The dark color stand classes with the bright white cord used for the diffuser. The stand comes in pieces and requires assembly, and it takes some time to get the legs balanced since they are just ran through a small piece of metal with screws holding them in place. I would definitely get something else if I could find it, unfortunately this is all that was available at the time.

The fogger, the lights, and the bowl all work great together. If you're thinking you can just set the bowl on a table, though, think again. The heavy cord comes out the bottom of the bowl, secured with a thick plug that will prevent the bowl from being level. You need the stand, and the stand is junk. None of the stand parts fit together well (you have to put the little wood balls on the curved pipes, and you have to fit the six curved pipes into the central piece). The central piece is just a chunk of pipe with three chunks of smaller pipe welded inside (all painted), and the inner pieces were not straight on mine. Leveling the thing is an absolute nightmare. The curved pieces are either too narrow or too fat (over or under painted), so that you scratch up the paint stuffing them inside. If you have to bring one out a little for leveling (and you will) then the scratches are exposed. Canary chose a white-corded fogger to go with a black stand (this is photoshopped out of the product picture on Amazon) so you end up with a pretty unsightly cord hanging down. The remote control sensor that hangs just above ground level is three inches long and two inches wide at the center (also photoshopped out of the pic). Mine didn't come with all of the screws, forcing me to improvise and paint to match. I should NOT have to do paint touch-ups or find my own screws on a product of this nature (unless they send me the cash to do it). That's just poor workmanship and poor quality control. I was ready to send the whole thing back, but the volume of packing material prevented me. After spending so much time trying to make the piece of junk work, I just didn't have the heart or the energy to pack it all up. I do not recommend this product. In the time I spent on it, I could have bought the same fogger and built my won stand and bowl combo - for a lot cheaper.

Works wonderfully, pretty colors. Greatly recommend reading the instructions! It didn't work at first but figured out it was user error and needed to add salt! Who knew?! But excellent product!

The best buy I've had. Love it. It is just as in the photo. But pay attention to the size it is a bit larger than what appears in the photos. As for installation, there are two rubber pieces, i stuffed the rounded big piece in the hole at the bottom of the bowl, the other circular piece was almost useless, but i put it on the outer side of the bowl to support the first rubber piece. It worked great. Do not know how long it will last though.

Canary Floor Mist Fountain/Aroma Diffuser with Inline Control ~ This was ordered on January 30, 2022 and delivered quickly, which was great. The problem is with the electrical system and it occurred within one month of using it. The wall plug that connects with the fountain electrical has a loose connection therefore the mister and lights do not work. This is somewhat disheartening since many of the reviews stated the same thing. I am even more displeased with the company since they refuse to ship the replacement part to Canada. What a disaster! This is an expensive trip to the landfill.
