I need just the plastic tower piece that the splash guard sits on

I have the same issue, the plastic tower piece was not in my Floor Mist Fountain package and I need it replaced. I would buy it, but I don't know where to get it. I checked the XBrand site and it is not available.

Can the lights be turned off separately from the misting action? We want to use this in our bedroom but don't want to use the nightlight feature.

Not on that model. There are other models that come with a remote with which you may a) turn the lighting on/off, b) changing the lighting mode, and c) change the mist volume.
