Why did you pick this product vs others?:We love this cooperative game for our preschoolers. One is going in to kindergarten and he can play strategically with us and enjoys making the game harder. Our younger toddlers love to play and can learn matching, counting, and fine motor skills.

Great game for a 5 yr old and grandparents/parents to play together! It was delivered on time and was packed with care.

As the grandma who purchased this for my 5-year-old granddaughter, I like that this game is about the players working together to get the dinosaurs home before the lava comes out of the volcano. She loves it and gets into trying to work together. It's easy. It's fun.Negative things: There isn't enough color distinction. The tokens blend in with the squares a player moves them to. It can be confusing. The tokens are so light weight that they can easily be moved inadvertently from one square to another. Also, IMO, there are too many Lava cards, but that is taken care of by removing a couple before starting the game.I don't remember paying as much for the game as is shown today. I'm sure I didn't. IMO, it's not worth more than $15.00.

So we already owned a game called Hoot Owl Hoot, and this game is exactly the same as that game, but with dinosaurs. I will say that this one has an easier path on the board for kids to follow than the owl game, and the dinosaur theme is really fun. You're rescuing the baby dinosaurs from lava, though, which means that if you don't win, baby dinosaurs basically die in lava. A very sensitive child may be upset by this. (In the owl game, if the baby owls don't get home before dark, oh well, they can still go home.) The other downside with this game is that if you are dealt a certain card, you don't get a choice in what to play on your turn. If that happens multiple turns in a row, kids can start to get frustrated.We love cooperative games because we work together and win or lose together, which is great for toddlers and preschoolers who don't need to be focused on winning and losing. This concept allows kids to get the hang of turn taking, how moving game pieces works, how dealing cards works, etc. without flipping the table when they lose because they have no impulse control.This is a cute game, and fun. My 4 year old really enjoyed it, and we saved all the baby dinosaurs from the lava together. :)

My four-year-old loves board games, but it's hard to find games where the mechanics are both easy for him to learn and remember AND that don't bore the adults (one of whom is an avid tabletop gamer), teenager, and the six-year-old to tears with repeat play. He also has a very hard time not being the winner of every game, so I was also looking for a good co-op game that we could all enjoy without major meltdowns. Baby Dinosaur Rescue has checked all the spec boxes for us. It's a quick game, so nobody is tired of it before it's over, but involves some basic strategy that keeps us enagaged, and there's no guarantee that all the dinos will be safe before the lava comes down - as it gets closer to the bottom, there's a lot more communication about who is going to save which dinosaur and with which card. The only time we had any emotional difficulty was when the six-year-old kept drawing lava cards and couldn't play anything else - the cards got shuffled up a bit better for the next round! All in all, I am very pleased and impressed with this game, particularly as it's made by one guy rather than a whole game company. This is a worthy addition to any game cabinet for a family with preschool-aged children.

I bought Baby Dinosaur Rescue for my 4.5 year old grandson. He LOVES it! His mom and I played it with him quite a few times over my weekend visit, and he even added one of his toys as another player! The rules were easy for him to understand. The game encourages cooperation and strategic thinking so that all the baby dinosaurs can get to safety. Five stars for sure!!

I have found that board games made by this company are not only attractive and draw the attention of young children, they are very interesting and helps teach problem-solving skills while playing the game. So far, I have purchased 3 of these board games from my grandchild and hope the company makes more. We thoroughly enjoy these board games and they are a lot of fun!

This game is very easy to learn how to play. It is very versatile because it has the ability to change the level of difficulty which is great if you have children at different age levels. As my granddaughter learned how to play it she began to use strategies and problem solving to get our dinosaurs to the island. I was impressed with the quality of the game board and pieces. We just received it a few days ago and have played it many many times. So if my five year old granddaughter is giving it 5 stars so am I.

Bought this game as a present for my nephew and we have played a couple of times, it was nice and easy to set up and pack away. Both adults and children had a great time.

Excelente dinámica de juego, simple pero entretenido. Puedes jugar varias rondas sin parar ni cansarte. Mi hijo de 4 años capto las reglas de inmediato y se divirtió por casi una hora jugando. Lo recomiendo ampliamente
