Great as a saddle stand
The cost of folding pipe metal saddle stands has gotten exorbitant. I found this quilt stand as an alternative, and from the reviews, saw that others were using it for much heavier tack than I needed it for. It works really well for my kid’s little Wintec leadline saddle and the pads and girth, as well as her helmet. We are uncouth horse people, and it lives in our dining room. I think it looks nice! It is not sturdy enough to sit on the saddle while it is stored on it, as you can with some stands, but it is definitely sturdy enough for storage - even beyond this generation of her tack, which she will outgrow. As has been mentioned, it was a pain to assemble; however, if you lay one curved end flat on the floor with the screws started and the dowels oriented vertically, then place the other curved side on top of them, it is much easier. I did it myself without extra hands, and it took 15-20 minutes, because I was also helping the kid with a book report. This was a good buy.

Helpful tips
I needed a rack to hold some larger, random pieces of leather to store them between leather working projects. saw some people using this rack for saddles, so I figured it would hold up to the weight of multiple layers of leather (which it is more than able to do so). I saw some people mentioning difficulty in assembly. And there are some potential tight spots to be sure. This is how I did it: There are six rungs/bars on the stand. The top two and the bottom two have predrilled holes. The middle two (without holes) are held in place by the pressure of the sides (without screws). The predrilled holes are too small for the provided screws. I took a 7/32 drill bit and widened the holes on the four predrilled rungs. I started at the top and put the top two rungs in place but did not tighten their screws completely yet. I repeated the process with the lower two rungs and left them almost, but not completely, tightened. Then I slipped the middle two rungs in place before tightening all of the screws. I can definitely see the difficulty in tightening everything down if you used the existing screws in the predrilled holes. Happy with the product for my needs, and after those slight modifications, there was no issue with assembly.

Great For the Price
I must've gotten this on sale. I see it is now about $53 ‐ I paid $22. For $22, I figured it was worth a try. Put it together this morning and I'm pleasantly surprised. I was able to assemble it myself - couple parts were a little tricky. But it was overall simple and do-able. For the price I got it, I was concerned it would be engineered or some other soft wood. But it's nice and sturdy. I'll need to glue the little wood buttons in that cover the screws, but it'll be pretty simple. It's a tiny bit wobbly (a leveling issue, not a sturdiness issue), but that could be assembler-error. Figure that will correct itself with the weight of a blanket on it. Of course it's s not the quality that a $300 blanket stand would be, but overall it's nice.

Excellent piece; challenging to assemble, but worth it!
I am very pleased with this 6-rung Wood Quilt Rack in Antique Walnut. It is great quality. In my home I've placed it next to an antique piece, and the two blend together beautifully! Reviews from others regarding the assembly being difficult are certainly true; the pre-drilled holes at the end of the 4 dowel rods are a tight squeeze, which makes it nearly impossible to screw in the large screws manually. To solve this issue, I had to use a drill to significantly widen the pre-drilled hole. Thankfully other reviews warned me of this, so I was prepared to take on the task. In the end this piece is just what I was looking for: it doesn't take up too much space, and is a sturdy piece with nice details.

Disappointing - Poor Quality and Instructions
Disappointed - The wooden dowels had warped/bowed pieces. How does that happen other than it being shipped that was without QC. The minimal instructions were understandable somewhat but were difficult at best to try and follow with the warped/bowed pieces. In trying to get the product together there are 4 dowels to be screwed into the right/left frame pieces and 2 dowels that are only wedged in-place while the 4 dowels were tightened down with large screws. The pre-drilled holes in the 4 dowel were quite small. Makes one very insure if securing them would/could crack them. As it was sent to me, it was difficult at best for 1 person to try and assemble the rack given its warped condition. Probably would not have been very easy even if it wasn't warped. IMO - as I received it, it would not have served well. We sent it back with disappointment and frustration.

Warped , uncomplicated but difficult to assemble
If I had tried to use the included Allen wrench to assemble this blanket rack I would have rated it zero stars but I used an impact driver, an extra set of hands and honestly pure spite to put it together. It didn’t take long. Loosely tighten the dowels on one side, set the assembled portion on end then fit the other side and screw in the opposite end of the dowels. I then set the whole thing upright to check for levelness and fully tighten the screws. It has a wicked wobble. I loosened and retightened the screws several times and the rack can be loose and level or tight and warped. Take your pick. I will need to level it somehow with felt. I’m using this as an extra saddle rack in a small space and it is sturdy enough for my purposes even with the wobble.

Die Lieferung kam in dem angegebenen Zeitraum, ließ sich leicht aufbauen/zusammenbauen und ist ordentlich verarbeitet. Ich benutze dieses Teil als "Herrendiener". :-))

It is difficult to find a quilt rack, so i was happy to see this one. It is a bit pricey considering the materials. Of the 6 hanging bars - one was a bit short, and another was not well sanded and was not a smooth surface, which is not a good thing for hanging quilts. I would look elsewhere next time.

A very nice quilt and blanket holder and seems to be quite sturdy, which is very important!

This is a wonderful comforter, blanket or quilt stand. It took me 1/2 hr. to put together. I noticed one of the rails was bowed warped & wouldn't stay in the hole this was the only challenge. Del'd on time. Good packaging. Thanks for the great product.
