I had an old monitor with a DVI connection, no speakers and no way to connect any. Amazing screen, but no use to plug in what I needed. With this adapter, and a new set of Logitech speakers it's now working perfectly with a Nintendo Switch. Also hooked up a Fire TV stick. Great image quality, and sound booming around the room with no pops or crackles. Amazing product.

Great useful gadgetSmall and convenient

I needed this to split a TV signal for an old set where picture and sound had to be input separately. This did the job fine at a good price.

My laptop has HDMI out, and while I could connect it to a smart tv, I want to use the laptop in my office room.My old 32 inch tv, one of the earliest, only had dvi and vga, no HDMI input.This piece of kit converts HDMI to dvi, plus it gives you an audio feed.(Dvi itself has no audio signal)Both work beautifully, so no more small screen.

Item does not work. Waste of money

After trying various devices to split computer output between VGA and HDMI, at last I found a device that works. Excellent quality of output and a great price

Arrived promptly, advert could be clearer that this does not allow extending if desktop only enables duplication on multiple monitor setup.

I had to return the product as it would not work to what I needed, we wanted to work off 2 full size monitors, this only allowed us to duplicate the same thing on both screens and not to split. Shame as the product is very well made, sturdy. Shame it did not work. The return was prompt and very easy to deal with.
