Only supports PAL format, no good in the US
The description says that it can be switched between PAL and NTSC formats, but the instructions that come with it state "this converter does not support format change". Since I am in the US I need NTSC, but it is set for PAL. That makes it useless for me. I am returning it.

Didn’t work for Roku streaming stick + to old TV w no HDMI
It said this would work to help connect a Roku stick to an old TV. I did not have success the Roku stick got very hot and nothing showed up on the TV screen. After further research I have to get a Roku express plus that has a red white and yellow attachment since this converter didn’t seem to work for me anyway. Since I’ve opened it I kept it in hopes that someday it’ll work for something

Economical and durable.
This data converter can be plug and play, without any driver, portable and flexible.This HDMI to RCA converter needs to be powered via a USB power port via a 5V/1A USB power supply.It's easy to use. It's much easier to use than what I used to buy. I love it.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Needed to convert my 6 y.o. grandson's tv in order to attach a DVD player and gaming system. Couldn't find what I needed in local stores and others online wanted an arm and a leg. This worked great!!!

Hooks Blu-ray players to old TVs that don't have HDMI slots!
We were connecting a blu-ray player to an old camper TV. The TV has no HDMI, only A/V components. This allowed us to hook it up for cheaper than I could find at any other store!

No HDMI / No Problem
I needed to update an old TV with no HDMI for my Grandson to be able to play his games. Works well.
