Smell great, long lasting, great protection for storing winter sweaters, etc.

Pretty, but barely any cedar scent. Moths aren't going to even know they are there. Small wood decorations they are! Works as well as anything since I have them.

these function exactly as i would wish - they smell fresh but not strong at all, and i put them in my off-season clothes boxes to keep moths away.the cedar is smooth and well-sanded, it will not pull on any delicate clothing with burrs or knots.

These balls are real cedar. Put them in your closet, and they will repel moths. We had a moth infestation in our house, but once I put these in the closet the moths stayed out. They would fly around in the rest of my bedroom, but would not go into the closet. No chemicals needed!After about a year you may need to sand the balls to refresh the cedar scent. Rub them gently with sandpaper, and they will be good as new.

I didn't notice any difference to the moth population in my closet after many months with these cedar balls. They smelled good for about 2 days and then the smell went away. I would assume that it is the smell that keeps the moths away, so the fact that I noticed the smell was gone so quickly was probably a mutual feeling with my winged friends.

The moths destroyed two of my good sweaters in one of my dresser drawers. I bought a box of moth balls from a local store and then read the stories about lasting nasty odors. So they were returned. The idea of a smell of cedar which would repel the nasty little critters was appealing so I said "Sure" when the cedar moth balls were offered as part of another order I made. But they have no odor and don't seem to do anything, at least so far. I will try all the product over time but I don't expect much. Here's hoping no additional sweaters get eaten.

I bought these to put in a couple of small closets. When I opened the bag I could barely smell them. I decided to put them in the closets anyway. I have 6 in each closet and I can't tell at all. If you are looking to get a scent out of them this is not the product to buy. I am very unhappy and would not spend the money on them again!

Haven't had a problem with moths in the past, but I put a Moth Ball on each "shelf" in a hanging bag (open in the front) that held sweaters and so far, so good.They don't have a strong scent at all
