You can find a better backpack to do the same things.A few small oversights really hold it back for me.1. the velcro patch that secures the roll-top has no cover, so when the bag is in shoulder-strap mode, the spiky velcro catches passing clothing and scratches your arm.2. the fake leather looks like a poor photocopy of leather grain. Negatives? The slightly awkward side zip opening... but you adapt to it. The bag is not waterproof, but I bought a low cost waterproof cover to go with it - not tested, but seems perfectly adequate.
