Do the wheels caster indepentantly ie in different directions?

Yes all 4 wheels move independently ,plus they are super strong, I used 4 of them to move a shed (without emptying) from a tight corner of a concrete patio , by using a car jack to lift it onto these (1 in each corner) then it could be pushed and rotated by hand, to where i wanted to move it , handy product to have!

I have a heavy table top (103cm x 202cm x 4cm) to move 30 yds along a flat gravel drive? Opinions about wheels please?

Think you may struggle on Gravel as the wheels are only about 25mm across so may sink in the gravel. If you can find a trolley with thicker or pneumatic wheels like a wheelbarrow you may have a better result, Or if you can put down some boards to roll the trolley on that would work too.

One of the reviews for this item states that the actual load capacity is 200kg, not 400kg as the listing states, is this correct?

The trolley is very sturdy and easily moved a much wider item than itself, but weighing 150kg. I cannot comment on the maximum weight it is said to hold.

Do you think this will be suitable for moving an upright piano?

I am using this trolley to hold a ford engine from a car. It is a solidly built trolley and moves easily but the base is quite small compared to the bottom of a piano so there will be an element of sideways pivoting in transit. One under each end would be a better mode to employ. I have no issues with this product but a piano may well be much heavier than a 4 cylinder engine.
