The pack came with plenty of leaves and they were all a good size (not dried out or broken up) I just toss a leaf or two in whenever I do a water change. It gives the tank water this natural tint and honestly, my axolotls seem way more chill since I started using them. Less stress, their gills and slime coats look super healthy and the water quality stays nice between changes. If you’re into natural setups or want to give your aquatic pets a boost I totally recommend these. Only thing (important thing) to note...expect your water to get that “tinted” look (not gross at all, just that classic tannin effect) and the leaves break down after a while, which is normal! Just swap them out as needed. All in all, great price and it actually does what it says! Review: Ships really quick - These came sooner than they stated They were perfect for my grandson's axolotl ## Features - Give your pet a conducive habitat --- Each SunGrow Axolotl Leaf is around 8-9" (20-23 cm) and are a good addition in the axolotl enclosure. You will notice that the aquarium water starts changing color to tea-like. Our leaves release compounds that are beneficial for your pet. - One product, several benefits --- Once introduced into the axolotl habitat, our leaves serve more than one purpose. It provides shelter, a supplement to their diet, energy during recovery, balance pH and clears water. - Optimum quality leaves --- Products like bottled black-water extracts may contain other elements mixed in that may not be good for your pet. You could pick the leaves outside but you cannot be sure of the quality. The best assurance for your pet is to use SunGrow’s specially dried leaves. They are hand-picked to ensure that every single leaf is of optimum quality. - Not just for axolotls --- Please note that your axolotl amphibians are antisocial and you house one pet in one tank. If you own multiple pets, you can make use of it with shrimps, snails, and fish. With time, the 10 leaves would soften and these pets will start to use the leaves as they see fit. Shrimps have been known to nibble on soft leaves, while fish sometimes hide under them. Our leaves serve as leaf litter for your other amphibians like newts, salamanders, and frogs. - Easy to use --- Depending on your water tank size and the pH level needed, drop a few leaves into your water tank (you can use a pH tester or a drop checker). Over the next few days, the leaves will slowly settle down to the bottom. Since SunGrow Special Leaves are raw, you don't have to boil them down. Simply drop these leaves straight into your tank... it's that easy to use. These leaves can be used in a cage to make a more naturalistic cage. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07Y18T6DC | | Additional Features | Hand-picked, Raw, Multi-beneficial Wooden Leaves | | Best Sellers Rank | #21,212 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #815 in Aquarium Water Treatments | | Brand | SunGrow | | Brand Name | SunGrow | | Color | Brown | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 963 Reviews | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 8"D x 2"W x 0.05"H | | Item Weight | 22.68 g | | Manufacturer | Luffy Pets Collection | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | N/a. | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | WT01 | | Number of Items | 10 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Plant Style | Realistic Style | | Plant or Animal Product Type | Wheat Grass | | Product Dimensions | 8"D x 2"W x 0.05"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Exercise | | Shape | Rectangular, Linear | | Specific Uses For Product | Indoor | | UPC | 735899174074 | | Unit Count | 10 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SunGrow - **Color:** Brown - **Material:** Wood - **Plant or Animal Product Type:** Wheat Grass - **Product Dimensions:** 8"D x 2"W x 0.05"H ## Images ![10 Pack Axolotl Indian Almond Leaves for Aquarium, 8-Inches, Catappa Leaf Soothes Pet’s Slime Skin, Aquarium Water Conditioner Leaves Improves Tank Water Quality, Speeds Up Recovery Process - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8156FD9wiWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How would the Axolotl Leaves benefit my pet and tank in general?** A: Our Leaves condition your aquarium’s water and lower stress in fishes.
