I was suspicious about this because it's considerably cheaper than other comparables but... Great light, multiple switches and low heat compared to hid's. I can get the light about 3 inches away with no problem if i have a fan on it... Been growing veggies indoors through winter, this is my second purchase of this model because you can't get the same light(lumens) with comparably priced items.. and my plants LOVE it, especially the basil and anything leafy... There were broken bulbs on the arrival of my second unit but they were hastily replaced with no problems.. and i get stuff happens. highly recommemd trying it if you want to save about $70 and don't always need the most expensive best brand name products on the market.

I'm gonna give this 4 stars because it's pretty chinsy construction going on here. However, both mine arrived and worked fine with no broken bulbs. Bulbs included are High Output according to the print on them. They took a few minutes to get up to full intensity and they appear to be pretty bright. The sockets are a little cheap and it can be a little work getting the bulbs connected properly. I figure since the units are going to remain suspended in the same place for a while, the quality of construction isn't as important.

This product far exceeded my expectations and hopes! The light is absolutely functional with way less weight from the cumbersome steel frame I have always seen before. To my experience this is a radical redesign of traditional T5 fixtures and I am immensely impressed!I can actually lift the entire fixture with a single finger comfortably

Very light weight, decent length cord, throws light well. But the reason it is so light is because the reflective material is quite flimsy. This isn't such an issue since you shouldn't be holding it by the sides anyway, but a little extra framework to support the sides would have been nice.

I bought a 4' T5 lamp system that worked great. 8 months after I bought it, I started having trouble with the ballast. I sent an email to the company asking about the warranty situation. Immediately, they emailed me back saying they would send me brand new ballasts. No hassle, no bickering. Within 2 days my light was back running as good as new. I will buy anything I need from this company from now on.

This product is cheap. While in theory, it would’ve been a pretty decent light for the price had it worked properly, as it is, it did not, so I returned it.Several screws had fallen off the light inside the box. I could hear something (the nuts off the screws, maybe) rattling around inside the unit. It was bent in a couple places (easy enough to bend back), and just feels flimsy.The two outer lights out of the 8 did not work, even if I switched the tubes around to ensure it wasn’t the T5 tubes themselves that were faulty.

They came on time, they were packaged okay, but received 2 FT lamps at the same time that were packaged better and when they both came the 4 Ft lamps had dents along the sides. I was tempted to return them, but after setting them all up I found that they all work fine so far, so I will continue to use them. I suggest that they should either use the same quality packaging as the other because the delivery driver almost dropped it walking to my door, I actually run and catch the box myself knowing the contents inside.

it worked as expected runs hot but very bright the switched banks of bulbs made light control easy frame is flimsy but antiquate for the money good investment

extremely fragile which is ok... BUT , product arrived not as described (3 bulbs out of 8 wouldnt fit because the product dimensions wernt perfectly squared, need to adjust fitment myself and square the product, needs new holes 1/8th inch off with a proper drill to be fixed) as you can see in the photos, the reflector was cut square but didnt fit properly immediately telling me it wasnt going ro work. i knew the bulbs wouldnt fit right when i opened the box.you shouldnt have to fix a brand new product; i will fix it if i need to because i need the product now rather than later; but defineatly steer clear of this product if your not a handy man. aswell as the reflector/ballast,bulbs seems more fragile than other t5sas well as actual product malfunctions; selected same day shipping; still 3 holes ,dents and dings in the box that show shipping and handling abuse.

I ordered on the 16th, got it the next day on the 17th with the free day shipping lol awesome job people !! Opened it up, was brand new, no dings dents scratches or most importantly no broken bulbs. (Good job UPS carriers!!!) fired right up, my veggies responded immediately. People complain too much, yes its alil flimbzy, who cares! You want light as possible anyways, for the price im more then satisfied, can't wait to see the cucumber go under this lol..Green thumbs up ! :)...how can this fixture jump from $168.98 to $480.68 !!! :(

Will bend a little but very well built, keep in mind it's a light so once it's installed you don't even have to worry about it anymore. grew 4 rounds and counting under it, more than enough for a 4x4 vegetation tent

Not a sturdy panel, flexes easy. System lights up well as expected.Would require a much better panel to hold lights and a stronger reflective shield. I will look for better built version. in my opinion very overpriced for what you get!

Total crap 2 of the lights have since gone out used for about 20hrs. Bought new lamps put them in and they don’t work it’s the fixture that is broken. Buy something else you won’t be happy with this product.
