Meet my expectations for reduce sebum

What I like: It has a nice consistency. It is not too heavy or too light. It does work! I tried it for a couple of weeks before I reviewed and I do notice a reduction in pore size on my face. I like how it leaves my skin feeling smooth although I do not feel it is moisturizing. What I don't like: I don't care for the smell. It is an overwhelming smell and dissipates quickly after use. The benefits of this product far outweigh the slightly off-putting smell. It does seem to slightly dry my skin out, but I use a moisturizer to balance that out. All in all a good product. I would order again.

I was not familiar with this K-beauty brand, and given its similarity to another one, I did some research and found out that this is a popular and respected Korean beauty brand, which is sold by reputable retailers in Europe. The ingredient list is top-notch for reactive skin! This includes well-researched ingredients that are anti-acne (which can help clear out pores or prevent clogging), along with ingredients that promote wound-healing, maintain/restore the skin barrier, and antioxidants. Unlike many products that claim to clear pores and/or control sebum that end up drying me out and only making things worse, this is a balanced formula that promotes both prevention and recovery/healing. There is a fragrance that dissipates quickly after application that I did NOT find unpleasant at all. The scent is almost entirely natural (probably mostly from the tea tree oil), with added fragrance (parfum) and limonene as the 2 very last ingredients. Besides these final 2, no other ingredients would cause skin irritation (and should not be expected to given they are at such low concentrations in this formula). The ingredients used are quality. The oils used are all safe for all skin types. It is also chock full of extracts, which are more concentrated (and much more expensive) than juices or oils. I am including the entire ingredient list below. This is a nice serum with a nice scent, but the tea-tree can be a bit intense near the face and eyes. It has helped focus in and reduce the size of my pores but has caused a bit of drying and flakiness in its wake. That's only naturally for an acne or pore minimizing product, but it does say that it is supposed to be moisturizing and I wish it was. I supplement with my favorite moisturizer and have found this product to be a good mainstay in my facial product lineup.

I am a big fan of Coxir’s Black Snail Collagen line so I thought I would try some of their other products. In the winter when my skin is extra dry, I like to layer a lot of hydrating products. I use emulsions or lotions under a thicker barrier cream to seal in all the other hydrating products I use such as toner, essence or serum. In the summertime when my skin is oilier, I use an emulsion or lotion as the final step in my skincare routine. Tea tree and Centella Asiatica are two of the main ingredients in this emulsion and they are both great for balancing and moisturizing the skin. Like almost anything containing Tee Tree extract it smells like Tea Tree, but the scent is not too strong and doesn’t linger. The texture is lightweight and absorbs well. I would recommend.

The tea tree pore and sebum emulsion is a lightweight cream. This does have a scent to it and you can smell the tea tree in it. This does help to hydrate my face but as for the pore minimizing, I didn't really see a big difference in that. I do have combination skin and noticeable pores but I honestly didn't see much of a difference using this product. It did kind of leave my face with a slight shine to it so I didn't like that as well. Maybe I'm not using it long enough but I will continue to apply it during the day and night and see if anything changes. This product comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. Overall I'm not crazy about this product.

I am not sure how much this "reduced pores" but it certainly feels nice on the skin. It smells a bit like citronella (like one of those candles that keep the mosquitos away) but it isn't a very strong or overpowering smell. It is moisturizing but seems not to last very long. All in all, this is a decent skin product. I do have sensitive skin and this did not bother me at all.

This concoction leaves you feeling greasy and your skin feeling worse than it did before application. I couldn't continue use because of that reason and it smells horrible!

o Die "Zutaten"liste ist hier sehr lang, was mich in der Regel stutzig macht, aber zu Unrecht. + Die Emulsion ist sehr verträglich, keine Rötungen, Reizungen, Kriechstoffe (und ich bin da etwas empfindlicher) - Leider gefällt mir der "Duft" nicht; die Emulsion riecht nach altem Leder. o Bevor die Emulsion aufgetragen wird, wird ein Toner (= Gesichtswasser) empfohlen. Genau diesen habe ich aus einer anderen Pflegeserie des Herstellers (Coxir Grüntee BHA Toner) genutzt. + Die Emulsion zieht schnell ein. o Sie hinterlässt ein stumpfes Hautgefühl. Ich habe zum Vergleich mal die andere Gesichtshälfte mit einer anderen Emulsion bearbeitet und es verbleibt dabei: während die andere Emulsion (COXIR Grüntee Emulsion) glatt und weich macht, macht diese Emulsion die Haut stumpf; es hat etwas von "vital und straff". Die Haut spannt aber nicht und es ist auch nicht unangenehm. + Das Produktversprechen "Porenstraffung" wird hier gehalten (so fühlt es sich zumindest an, optisch kann ich keine Unterschiede erkennen) + Das Haltbarkeitsdatum ist September 2024. + Die Emulsion ist sehr sparsam und durch den Pumpspender sehr gut zu portionieren. Kosmetikprodukte gerade aus Korea sind momentan total angesagt. Wenn sie hier noch den "Duft" ändern, steht dem nichts im Wege.

Obwohl das bei Hautpflegeprodukten nicht besonders wichtig ist, finde ich auch schon die äußerliche Aufmachung ziemlich ansprechend. Auch ist die Verpackung stabil und kann auch mal herunterfallen, ohne gleich kaputtzugehen. Man bekommt das Produkt via Pumpspender aus der Verpackung, was ich gut finde, da somit keine Bakterien in das Produkt kommen. Ich habe bis jetzt noch nie eine Emulsion genutzt und war auch dementsprechend froh, als ich bei der Beschreibung, auf der Amazon Seite sehen konnte, mit welchen Produkten die Emulsion kombiniert werden soll. Auch wenn ich nicht diese gleichen Produkte habe, kann ich die gleichen Kategorien nutzen. Von der Konsistenz war ich positiv überrascht. Sie ist weder zu dick, noch zu dünn. Meiner Meinung nach genau richtig. Zu dicke Cremes können sich ja mitunter auf der Haut ziemlich schwer anfühlen, was dann doch unangenehm ist und bei zu dünnen hat man das Gefühl, dass sie nicht genug wirken. Hier wird ein gutes Mittelmaß getroffen und die Emulsion fühl sich echt gut auf der Haut an und zieht auch schnell ein. Der Geruch ist sehr vom Teebaumextrakt geprägt, was bei solchen Produkten ja oft der Fall ist. Dies stört mich nicht. Für meine Haut ist diese Emulsion genau das richtige und ich bin sehr froh, dass ich sie in meine tägliche Hautpflege integrieren konnte. Ich vergebe hier 5 Sterne.

Ich habe Mischhaut und neige insbesondere im Nasen-und Kinnbereich zu vergrößerten, unreinen Poren, was mich extrem stört. Teebaumöl ist dafür bekannt, gegen Hautunreinheiten zu wirken und fettige Haut auszugleichen. Das Serum lässt sich gut auf die Haut auftragen und einmassieren und zieht schnell ein, ohne einen klebrigen oder fettigen Film auf der Haut zu hinterlassen. Es ist sehr leicht und mattiert und verfeinert die Haut. Das Geruch vom Teebaumöl ist beim Auftragen deutlich wahrnehmbar, verfliegt aber rasch. Ich persönlich empfinde das Serum nicht als reichhaltig genug. Nach dem Eincremen bleibt ein leichtes Spannungsgefühl und meine Haut fühlt sich nicht ausreichend versorgt an. Das betrifft leider auch die fettigen Partien meiner Mischhaut. Ich muss im Anschluss auf jeden Fall noch eine reichhaltigere Pflegecreme auftragen, was meiner Meinung nach kontraproduktiv zu dem porenverfeinernden Serum wirkt. Ich denke, das Produkt ist am besten für sehr fettige bzw. schnell nachfettende Haut geeignet, weil es trockene oder Mischhaut nicht ausreichend nährt. Ansonsten fühlt es sich aber gut auf der Haut an, hat eine angenehme Konsistenz und mattiert die Haut.
