I bought a large, as I’m a 12-14 and initially when nursing my breasts were larger than normal and tender - however the material doesn’t even cover a bra, so cannot be worn with a cardigan. I also found I could not wear this without a bra because there’s not enough material to adequately cover the breast or provide support.But would I buy this again? Probably, because the vests are long they cover your back nicely (I’m tall and any tall woman knows there’s always a muffin top risk with a vest purchase!), the material is thick and soft and washes well, and I have had a lot of wear out of them as I am nursing through winter so have been layering over them.I’ve found expensive vests from mamas and papas have very poor quality spaghetti straps and the clips are a bit fiddly when also needing to unclip a nursing bra, the thing I like about these vests is that you just pull down the front (above mentioned issues with not enough material to cover your boob at least makes for easy access, which helps when you have a crying infant needing milk!) ### ⭐⭐ Disappointing as a layering top *by A***R on 26 October 2018* Tight around the torso and then loose over the chest, so doesn’t provide much support. The fabric feels very synthetic. The ruching shows up clearly if worn underneath other clothes, making it unsuitable for layering. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really pleased :) *by A***R on 3 April 2018* I love these tops! I can't tell you what a revelation these were. They make the best base layer for anything to be worn over the top. I really like the nice touch of lace at the back.
