Really great
I bought two of these to install on our hardwood floors. Installation was easy has there was a full basement under the room and the electric panel box was also close in the basement. They are really professional looking

BEWARE - Silver Box Ears Show Under Cover in Some Installations
My handyman was livid, claiming the instructions are not just useless but wrong. If you drop the box in from the top, the cover is not large enough and the box ears remain exposed. Wood flooring is already notched out, so no work-around. I will paying a local blacksmith (yes, we have one!) to create a flange to fit under the outlet cover. Also - If you want a direct USB-C connection in your outlet, it is not currently available in this floor box. To exchange an existing outlet in the floor box with a USB-C outlet, you have to spend the money on a floor box with the old USB-A outlet connections as the floor box with the basic outlet is not deep enough to exchange the outlets. Also, there is a white border that the outlet fits in, so you need a Leviton outlet with the USB-C connection in white (to match the border). You also have to remove the ears on the white outlet to fit in the box.

Great find.
I’m a longtime woodworker and used this for a few clients. Looks good and easy to wire in. Clients love it.

Sturdy pop-up outlet, but beware of installation gotchas.
Bought this outlet to go into a kitchenette countertop. Since I only had good access to the top side of the counter, I went with the top mount method. Beware that the top cover on this outlet will not hide the hole you cut to accommodate the electrical box - the edges of the hole (especially where you route out for the mounting flanges) will be very visible and unsightly. I really wish the manufacturer would include a flange or gasket to go between the top plate and the surface (countertop/flooring, etc) to cover the edges of the cutout. If you plan to use this in a countertop or some other top mount situation, you just need to have a plan for dealing with this issue prior to cutting a huge hole in your expensive materials.

Another Quality Leviton Product
I've been using Leviton devices my entire life. When I had to install 4 retrofit floor receptacles, Leviton was my choice. In the past I've used others, but they were clunky looking things with threaded plugs and royal PIA boxes to try to retrofit into the floor. This unit pops up with the press of a button and is very neat looking. I installed four in an office and the staff loved them..no more bruised toes from slamming into the "tombstones" that were there. The staff also loved the convenience of the USB ports. The units come with everything and are easy to install. There isn't a lot of "wiggle" room with the cover plate so cut the finished flooring carefully. Also do not force the floor box into place. The receptacle mounting tabs are very close to the cover/receptacle plate. Even a little deflection of the box will inhibit the receptacles ability to "pop up". Other than that these are great units.

Product is fine, instructions suck.
The media could not be loaded. If you cut the hole for the electrical box to the dimensions on the included directions, it will almost be too large to use. The box has two attachable flanges that screw into the side. I could barely make the screws that go into them catch the subfloor because the hole was too big. I'd suggest tracing out the box and then cutting the hole maybe 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch bigger. Basically run your sawblade on the outside edge of the line for a much better fit. You do have to push the release button with a finger in order for the outlet to come up and to unlock it so it can go back into the floor. The speed of opening is very slow.

Excellent floor receptacle
Extremely easy to install! It is worth noting that this a single outlet in a duplex box. So if you have a single gang box in your floor you will have to cut the opening in order for it to fit. Very well built and very straightforward on connecting. Gives a good clean look when in the down position and the added USB's are a nice bonus.

Functions Well Enough
Overall it gets the job done. The fit could be better and the quality of the screws is very poor.

Great product works very well. Might be a little nicer if it had a led light in it

Very nice plug but…
This is very nice unit BUT…. I needed to install this in a finished hardwood floor with no access to the underside (finished dry walled basement) The brackets that are supplied are meant to go either UNDERNEATH THE FLOORING (attach to subfloor on top, with a routed relief for brackets to sit into) as the brackets WILL show on top if you don’t, or from the underside (attach to subfloor from underneath) I had to modify the box by drilling 4 small holes in each upper corner and screwed it into the hardwood floor/subfloor sideways, not what I was expecting to have to do but it worked, it is solid and looks great!
