NEW FAVORITE THING!
This is excellent. I love the firmness when cooked at 10m. I can eat this everyday. I get a large glass salad bowl, load up lots of red onion, lots of zucchini, heavy on the cayenne pepper w/ a choice of Chicken, Ground Turkey, Salmon, or Tuna topped off with Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Caesar Dressing. Dump two servings of this Red Lentil Pasta right on top, Mix it up and Voila! I'm at the finest restaurant in town 😋 this is stuff is great. The 15g of protein per serving helps to keep one nice and full after a meal. No bloating, no sluggish or weighed down feeling after. I can't wait to see what else I can pair this with. There's so many things I can think of... 💬 🤔

good alternative
These are a good alternative to regular spaghetti. we like them. be aware that you may want to cook them a bit longer than is recommended as otherwise they can taste tough. If you turn the heat off and let them sit in the hot water for a short time (15 minutes or so) they will not fall apart like regular spaghetti, so that is a plus. I take them out of the water rather than pouring the water through a strainer and down the drain. I save the liquid in the freezer or refrigerator to use in soups - especially if I make a soup with red lentils in it, or if I cook red lentils in a slow cooker.

Does not taste like real pasta
I’m sure it’s a quality product but I did not care for the taste

Healthy and tasty
Our family for the most part tries to avoid bread and pasta and such, so I feed this to my two-year-old and four-year-old and have for the last couple years, and we all like it. It’s a little more firm than other pasta, but if you cook it enough, you can make it softer if that is desired. my kids really like it though! It doesn’t seem to matter what pasta is used if a hearty sauce is on top! (I do browned ground beef, then add a jar of organic pasta sauce and a bag of chopped frozen spinach and simmer til spinach tender. Easiest meal that the family loves!)

Not my favorite
The texture and taste is just okay. I have to mix this with regular spaghetti noodles so I don't notice the weird texture as much. I like the ingredients but I discovered lentil pasta isn't my favorite.

I Consider it inedible - but will explain how to make it cook thru
Inedible doesn't mean it will harm you, it means it's disgusting. As others have said, following the directions, even doubling the cooking time which is for pasta made with white wheat flour, will get you hard product. They didn't test. This is raw ground bean powder. Lentils are a kind of bean. To make it soft enough to eat, break in half, cover with cold water, let soak for 45 minutes. It will double in size. Bring it to a boil, simmer for a few minutes. It will be spaghetti-like. It is tasteless and feels like soft sand in your mouth. I spit it out. I can't return and won't pawn it off on the food bank. I don't think they let you give 0 stars.
