I’ve tried a lot of self-tanners over the years, and this one has quickly become my favorite. The lotion goes on as a white cream, which I actually love because it makes it easy to see exactly where you’ve already applied it. It absorbs surprisingly fast, too. I put on a white tank top about 15 minutes after applying it, slept in it that night, and there wasn’t a single stain on my shirt. It also didn’t stain my hands, my lotion applicator wand, or any clothing. Another huge plus: there’s no weird self-tanner smell. That’s a big win for me. I started noticing a subtle glow within about an hour, was noticeably darker around the 8-hour mark, and by 24 hours my tan had fully developed into a beautiful, natural-looking color. I used the Medium shade and started with a light base tan. The color lasted about four days and even held up after spending a day in the pool. A little product goes a long way, so one bottle should last quite a while. I applied most of it with my hands and used a lotion applicator wand for my back. The application was smooth, streak-free, and incredibly easy. I also appreciate that Beauty by Earth uses cleaner ingredients than many self-tanners on the market and puts effort into minimizing its environmental footprint. Beauty by Earth offers both a foam and a lotion version, but after trying the lotion, I’m sticking with it. It’s effective, easy to apply, develops into a gorgeous natural tan, and doesn’t transfer onto clothing. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my tan and have already recommended it to several people. This will absolutely be my go-to self-tanner from now on. Highly recommend!

This product is AWESOME! I wish I had taken 'before' pictures. The product does exactly what it says- gives you a natural looking tan. I have used MANY over the years and they al streak or look awful after a few days. This does not! PROS: -No streaking (and I add a bit each day to maintain my tan) -No funky smell -Goes on nice and thick (but a little also goes a long way! I do not slather it on like I have seen on the ads. I just use as if it were regular suntan lotion) -Long-lasting -Does NOT stain clothing (even when I sweat!) -Gives a natural looking tan (I've had lots of compliments! -Feels good to know that these are safe ingredients that I'm using -Fades naturally and does not give the look of "dirty" skin CONS- Price. It isn't cheap! I go through a tube per month and have been using for 2 months. I like to stay tan looking so I apply a little each day all over. Price is worth the hype but it is an investment if you use as often as I do! You can get a small discount if you do a subscription. I did mine for every 6 weeks but will probably change to monthly. *When I get a good photo, I'll update this post with it.

The best self tanner I have tried, and I’ve tried several! This is the first one I’ve ever tried that did not leave me feeling sticky, not even as applying! It went on white so I could see where I was rubbing it and I waited the 15 min to put clothes on. I put a white shirt on to test and there was no color transfer!! And it looks super natural! It does have a slight smell, but much less than any other tanner I’ve used and to me it smells more like a sunscreen than the typical tanner smell. Will be officially switching over for good to this one!

Honest thoughts: this is a really good self tanner. Probably the best I’ve ever used. It’s natural looking, does not streak, doesn’t transfer (when dry), and lasts for days. That said, the smell is awful. Anyone who has ever used a self-tanner is familiar with the typical odor. This adds a very musky smell. Even after showering, there was a slight scent for another day. I’m willing to deal with it because of the other benefits, but if you are sensitive to smells, steer clear.

The best self-tanner I’ve ever used! The color is beautiful and natural, there’s no unpleasant smell in fact it smells good, and it’s incredibly moisturizing. I love that I can apply it with my hands just like a body lotion, and because it goes on like a rich white body cream, it’s so easy to apply evenly. Less is more! I think I could have used half the cream. It lasts for days without looking patchy. I give it a 10/10 and will continue buying it.

As I was walking through the grocery store, I noticed a man giving me some odd looks. At first, I thought he was checking me out, but then he approached me and said, "Excuse me, miss, but I think you have something on your shirt." I looked down to see what he was talking about, only to realize that the self-tanner had rubbed off onto my shirt in a few places, leaving some pretty obvious streaks. I had read that lemon juice can help remove self-tanner stains, so I squeezed some onto a washcloth and started scrubbing away. To my surprise, it actually worked! The lemon juice helped remove most of the stains, leaving me with just a hint of a tan and no more orange hands or feet. Despite my initial mishap, I continued to use the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner over the next few weeks, making sure to apply it carefully and avoid wearing light-colored clothing until it had fully dried. I have tried so many different tanning creams, as well as tanning drops added to my favorite lotions. Never thrilled with results. I looked a tad more golden yes — but it seemed messy, too orange, or transferred to my sheets and clothes. This arrived yesterday and in the evening I rubbed just a wee bit on each of my legs — no mitt or cloth — and washed my hands afterward. I could tell within 30 minutes that I was looking “more tan” — although I barely used any volume. It spread well. Didn’t stain my hands. Didn’t make my knees look dark. Doesn’t look orange. Didn’t transfer to my sheets. You can still see my freckles. Very even coverage. This morning? Wow. Golden! I found the one! This one! Great product.

This is probably the best self tanner I've tried! Doesn't smell. It's a med color more than a fair color. Easy to apply, no streaks. Nice color.

Absolutely AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!! One of the best self tanners I’ve used, and I’ve used them ALL! This product goes on smoothly, streak free, light nice smell, absorbs almost instantly but leaves your body nice and hydrated, does not transfer on clothing or bedsheets at all!!! What more could you ask for in a self tanner!? Also, it lasts on the skin for about a week, and fades off nicely and not in patches. I’m so impressed with this product, and I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone! I’ve used higher end self tanners, and this one by far exceeds the higher price tagged ones I’ve used. Only recommendation for users is to use a glove when applying to avoid orange hands. Finally a self tanner that owns up to the hype!!!! 10/10!!
