Weird assembly
Great bed and looks awesome. The assembly was easy but tricky, when putting the leg all the weight of the bed went to one leg which freaked me out.

Gorgeous frame
I got this earlier than expected. the boxes were fairly roughed up and there was some damage to the frame, but structurally it was fine. Set up wasn't bad - but for the love of god it would be great if they made all of the screws phillips compatible, the tiny allen wrench kills. The engineers who designed this must be a little sadistic. Right now I'm a little worried that it doesn't support my mattress very well. It seems to be slumping in areas which makes me worried (I weigh in at 135lbs so it shouldn't be a capacity issue) I'll update this review soon if any issues develop Over all love the aesthetic and hope it works well!

Looks nice but does not hold up, and barely fits a standard depth queen
I bought the queen sized frame. Once I had put it together the frame moved around a lot on the floor. My concern is that the center beam support has 5 very unsturdy legs screwed into it, and when the frame needed to be moved or even worse moved on its own, the legs weren't sturdy enough to move with the frame so they would bend. My worst fears came true when one day I was getting on the bed and the entire center support beam snapped because of the legs bending. Additionally, the 3 rowed cushion of the head board is nice, but my standard depth queen covers the entire bottom layer of it. Which essentially, pushes on the mattress and makes the mattress bulge off at the foot of the frame.

Do not buy this bed
I initially loved this bed, but it does not hold up. About one year after having this bed, one of the wooden legs completely broke. After taking the mattress off to see if we could fix it, we noticed that the support system had several cracks and breaks through it. I contacted DG Casa to ask if I could buy more legs and supports, as I did want to keep the bed. They refused to help in any way even though the bed was barely over a year old. So basically, this is an expensive throw away bed. And in case you are wondering...NO this bed didn't have a lot of weight on it. 170 lbs max in a guest bedroom.

Okay Customer Service, Excellent Product
Awesome sturdy product with excellent machining/build. Assembly was a breeze and everything fit perfectly. Customer Service was lacking though. They sent me two slats at first without sending the side rails. Contacted them and they replied that theyโd send me the side rails. A week later I received another set of slats (3rd set) contacted them again, and they sent ANOTHER set of slats (4 total were sent). After contacting them again, they finally understood what I was missing and they had to substitute the side rails for a different wood color. 5 weeks later total I finally received the side rails and was able to assemble the bed frame. It looks and feels amazing. Three stars for the customer service lacking a phone number, responding with generic responses, and for sending me 4 sets of slats.

Pay attention to mattress size
Bed arrived without damage. Assembly was relatively easy. Bed seems sturdy and is as described. Be on alert that your mattress sizing will be important with this bed. First, be aware that the mattress drops into the frame about 4 inches. The mattress we bought for the bed was such a tight fit that we had to wedge it into the frame and it would have been impossible to tuck in sheets. So we switched it out for another mattress we already own which is still a very tight fit and will also be hard to tuck in the sheets, but tucking in sheets is at least fathomable. But this second mattress is extra tall (14") so it covers up the entire first 1/3 of the upholstered headboard. In conclusion, if you want your headboard to show any of the bottom 1/3 of the upholstery, you will need a 10" mattress (or even less!). And the length and the width of the mattress will also really matter (as well as its weight as you need to sort of pick it up out of the frame to make the bed). Good luck and if someone finds a mattress that is a good fit for the bed, they should share that in a review!
