can these be painted to blend in with landscape?

Painting over polypropylene bags might be difficult. I’d go to a paint store and ask about a spray, but the material is porous. It’s possible they could be dyed in a pail of dye before you filled them.

How much could be loaded into them? 50lbs?

Yes you could probably load 50 pounds into it max . I find the opening to be slightly small.

Will water filter through the bag if it's being used to dump resin and water in the bag?

I believe the bags are waterproof and water will not filter through.

Im using them for soil.. how many gallons or quarts do you think it will carry wity the string tied?

For 2/3 full of a 14"-wide (= 28"-circumference) by 26" tall bag amounts to about 1200 cubic inches and with 231 cubic inches per gallon equals about 5.2 gallons. If you assume the bag made more of a square shape rather than circular, the volume at 2/3 full would be 7x7x(19.3) = 946 cubic inches or 4.1 gallons. So depending on the actual shape it should be about 4.5 gallons give or take a half gallon. Hope that helps.
