So far only have been using for a few days but it seems too work well. Once in awhile reading is not accurate. Seems good quality ans very wasy to read and operate. I am thinking I made a good decision. Im using mostly too confirm tht nothing I am eating is kicking me out of ketosis...

Bought the Ketone breath analyzer 3 weeks ago as it was at the top of the list in a top 10 rating, the one thing I have tried to overcome in my life is the crazy purchase cycle that my father bestowed on to me. I must have been in an unconscious state or sleep walking when I purchased this unit. Cannot fathom spending $40 on a ketone meter and think it was going to be the right choice. It was difficult to use (air pressure must be just right) the nozzle cracked after the first day, but they give you ten replaceable nozzles (no wonder). Just like that it stopped working, changed batteries, nozzles switched up exhaling speeds and nada. Yes I was in Ketosis, my blood meter has never failed me yet, was just trying to find a more convenient way to check without the needle...JB

Insert parts list states that it came with batteries, sadly not included. Easy to use, still waiting to see the results of when I am in Ketosis, keeping positive.

Think twice before you choose this unit. Read the reviews. Some report high success, but others are a firm thumbs down, reporting either impossible results or results so mixed over short time spans that they could not possibly have come from anything human. That was my experience. Over a series of ten "blows" separated by 15 minutes each, I got a 1.4, then two 0.0's, a single 0.2 followed by two 0.0's, followed by a 1.3 followed by three more 0.0's. I have seen many similar results in the thumbs down reviews, but I see quite a few positive reviews as well. As per the title above, it looks like the quality control on this product "blows!" Pun intended. If that happened to you, don't waste time. Return the one you got and get your money back, or I suppose you could roll those same dice and spend you refund on another one. Three to one and pick 'em?

Link anything that is measurement based, repeat-abililty is key. Do yourself a favor and just do a few tests when you get it to make sure your device is accurate. Read the bad reviews, see what problems people have had, mitigate the problems ahead of time. I have bought the disposable one before, Because I found this one is more expensive, durable and accurate. In calculation, it's much cheaper than the disposable one.

I didn’t check blood or ketones until my weight stalled. If I could say I wish there was one thing I wish I knew when I started keto that I know now it would be how to use this device to check your metabolism. Very good ketone tester, clean, easy to operate, accurate test results.

I dont feel it catches what it is supposed to. I have been doing keto and purvit drinks and it rarely finds me in ketosis.

Felt flimsy and batter compartment lid didn't fit well compared to other meters. Always showed 000. Tested against a family member's ketone meter showing accurate ketosis above 3.0 & this one would never register anything but zero. Tried several purge cycles to reset and still zero. Total waste of time & money. Returned.
