OSRAM Endura Style Ellipse LED Wall-Outdoor Luminaire, Warm White, 12.5 W

Really unsure how to review this without sounding short and boring… it's easy and simple to install provided you follow the instructions. I've got it over my front door (repaving an uglier, old light that we inherited with the house) which comes on automatically when the senor senses movement, which is just what's needed when I get home in the dark hours. The light is warm, not blinding and visually it's understated. Would recommend this for anyone looking for some soft outdoor lighting.

This looks lovely on the wall, it is subtle and not intrusive at all. I think it has been designed very well. It is also very useful too. I wasn't keen on the cold white light and nearly marked it down to 4 stars for it, but it actually shows the garden really well, doesn't create shadows and penetrates the foliage much better than a warm light would.

Impressed with this light - we have just moved into a new house and this suits our style of house well - the patio is now light with a strong glow (rather than a harsh light). Sleek design - probably best suited to a modern house. Slightly on the pricey side but the quality looks good and I trust it will stand the test of time. Recommended product.

This is a sleek, modern light which is pricey, but obviously of very good quality. If you want a light to help make your garden more attractive and useable at night, this is a good choice, because the light from it is warm and gentle. If you want a strong, bright security light for a dark area, this probably isn't the best one. That said, we've put ours next to a door on a dark side of the house, and now we can see where we couldn't before. It needs to be wired into your mains electricity and is operated from your own switch indoors. It is easy if you are used to simple wiring jobs. I think modern rules mean that if this is a new piece of wiring, an electrician has to do it, but if you are replacing another light on existing wiring, you are allowed to do it. Although it is a modern style of light, it is understated enough to look fine on our old house.

It's a decent outdoor light, simply designed, like something you might pick up from a certain Scandinavian retailer, only more expensive. Suitable for anybody with a good sized patio who likes entertaining deep into those Summer nights, just keep the music down a bit after 9pm, not everybody loves Adele you know.

Bigger and heavier than I was expecting, this is a great outdoor light. It's not motion activated, and needs to be wired in to the mains supply, but it's IP44 rated so fine for outside walls. It's not a flood light, but rather a warm welcoming glow and best used near a door or feature that will occasionally need some light there in a stylish case. Quality light for a reasonable price. Easy to install and use and will last for many years. Recommended.

Out of the packet you are struck by the quality of this light. The design is such that it will fit into most gardens/patios giving an excellent subtle light. Where I do have problems is the cost of this light, but if you want quality, then you normally have to pay. Certainly it is a high end light source for our garden and a pleasure to have.

We got this light as it looks very stylish in our back garden but it doesn’t flood the garden like our old patio light. It was very easy to install, there’s 2 Allen keys on the side of the grey section of the light that you remove with the Allen key included and this will give you access to the electric fittings. You attached the small grey section to the wall, push your home electric wires through the hole with the grommet and connect to the standard small white electric connector blocks fitted to the light – see pictures attached. Remember to turn off your main power to the lights before wiring anything. The light is then operated by turning on the light switch in your house. This doesn’t have a sensor that automatically turns on the light if triggered by movement in your garden. It’s a lovely looking outdoor light that we love, but as previously mentioned It won’t flood your garden with light. It gives our patio and garden a lovely warm glow. Looks great.

Abbiamo installato questa lampada a LED OSRAM nella casa di montagna in Basilicata dove ce ne era veramente bisogno. Dopo la ristrutturazione infatti avevamo trascurato proprio i punti luce e ci limitavamo ancora a lampadine nude attaccate a un filo che spuntava dalla parete. Con la Endura Style Ellipse di Osram abbiamo fatto grandi passi avanti. È una lampada da esterni ma grazie ai bei materiali usati fa bella figura anche in casa. Nel nostro caso l’abbiamo installata in un angolo del salotto, un locale dal soffitto molto alto e a volta, da casa antica. L’installazione è elementare. Nella confezione c’è tutto quello che serve per montarla; attenzione però siccome si tratta di mettere mano a fili elettrici noi ci siamo fatti assistere da un elettricista. Alla fine abbiamo perso più tempo a decidere dove posizionarla che a installarla, siccome il processo è semplice. Si posiziona la piastra nel punto prescelto, si prende il segno con una matita, si fa il buco e si piantano i fischer, inclusi a loro volta nella scatola. La luce è calda e veramente piacevole. Dà il meglio di sé se sopra ha qualcosa su cui proiettare il fascio luminoso superiore. A casa nostra l’effetto sulle volte novecentesche è strepitoso! Consiglio l’acquisto a chi voglia valorizzare un ambiente ampio. La luce è intensa quanto basta per svolgere attività elementari, non è una luce da studio ma al di sotto ci puoi tranquillamente leggere e chiacchierare o giocare a carte con gli amici. La durata promessa da Osram è di 30 mila ore: oltre dieci anni di uso medio di otto ore al giorno, a meno che non si rompa per qualche motivo non dipendente dall’usura. In pratica costa otto euro all’anno ed è robusta e bella da vedere: per me è un acquisto più che consigliato.

Utilisé pour éclairer une terrasse en lieu et place d'une ancienne applique murale. Les 13W donne réellement un éclairage équivalent à une ampoule classique de 80W. De plus le rendu lumineux est agréable (blanc chaud) ainsi que la mise en valeur du mur sur lequel est monté l'applique. La borne extérieure assortie à l'applique offre elle aussi une très bonne diffusion de la lumière et un éclairage puissant. Toutes deux sont d'une très bonne qualité de fabrication avec corps métallique peint en gris .

Je ne vois rien à critiquer sur ce très bon produit. Vous pouvez acheter les yeux fermés.

La potenza è di 13w che corrispondono a 80 watt delle lampade tradizionali. Una lampada elegante e funzionale in quanto il fascio di luce è proiettato sia verso l'altro che verso il basso. . La lampada è impermeabile e il montaggio è molto semplice ci vengono fornite anche le apposite viti. Il colore non è proprio nero ma bensì un grigio scuro opaco.
