Then I have misplaced it and couldn't find and as both - my husband and I - suffered without it, ordered a new one. When I first tried the new brush it felt rough and firmer than the old. After a few days I found my old and was able to compare them side by side. The new brush is a bit smaller, than old and definitely harder. I am sure it'll become softer after a year of use. I try to wash it once a week or less to keep it healthy. I needed a brush that would take the oil from my scalp and roots and pull it to the ends of my hair which would allow me to stretch the time in between washes. This brush does a really good job and is an important part of my hair care routine. Very inexpensive for the quality. The only thing I would say that I would not use this as a detangling brush. I don’t use it on wet hair, I use a wide tooth comb.
