How long does TarmaSeal last for once opened

We would suggest using as quickly as possible after opening. Certainly within 6 months. Once it goes off it will smell strongly, initially it has only a subtle gluey odour. Hope that helps!

Can anyone comment on how well the finish lasts - say after a couple of years of normal use? How does its appearance change over time?

The product fades as with any surface cover. The first time you put 2 coats on. I would then each 1 or 2 years quickly clean it and go over with a quick cover.

How many square metres / yards does the 20 litres of Tarmaseal cover?

The better the condition, the further it will go. We would recommend 2 coats. The average coverage for 20 litres would be 50 m2 1st coat and 60-70 m2 2nd coat. Hope that helps!

If engine oil drips are wiped up straight away, and then brushed with water and washing up liquid, is a stain still likely?

The polymers used with the formulation are acrylic, they offer a degree of stain resistance, particularly when the tarmac restorer has been recently applied. But it is not a stain-proof product. Hope that helps.
