HJC Solid Men's CL-17 Full Face Motorcycle Helmet - White/Large

After trying on my wife's grandpa's helmet, and her brother's, and her uncle's, I figured I've got a fairly round head. Grandpa's was an old CL-11 that fit pretty well, but was 20 years old. I went and looked too see if they made a newer version and they did! I shopped around online to compare prices between some other snell rated helmets, and was pretty pleased with how competitive the price was, so I went ahead and took the measure on my head and ordered the size that fit the size chart. I'd recommend it, seems to be true to size with a tight fit on the cheeks. Between the old CL-11 and this one the new seems to have a slight cut out on where the ears are, which I like pretty well just because my ears don't fold over quite the same way they did in the old one when I put it on. Other than that, I like the venting a ton, it works super well when it's raining, and I'm waiting to see how it'll be when it starts to get colder. For the price and the protection, I don't think you can beat it

I purchased this product after purchasing a motorcycle and hearing about the quality of these helmets. Overall, the helmet appears to be of great quality, but when I placed it on my head for fit (I had tried this size of exact helmet on in-store and wanted to purchase through Amazon) I lifted the visor up and a screw fell out as if it was just resting within the side of the helmet. The visor was in the unlocked position, leading me to not know what the cause of this malfunction could have been. My family members have the same helmet, which I tried on as well, and it appears that I received the only fluke. Although this is the only problem I've encountered, my main concern stems from the fact that when I attempted to contact HJC Helmets via the email provided in the manual, I received no response. My largest fear is the internal structural integrity of the helmet as I know repeated drops, etc. can reduce the efficacy of this life-saving device, and not knowing the extent of this helmet's damage is slightly concerning to me, regardless of HJC's promptness in responding to my attempts at contact.

Have had this helmet for about two weeks now and have been out riding with it within those weeks. It's been really good and fits very well. Make sure you measure your head before you buy any helmet. You need to go off of their sizing charts for all helmets are usually not the same standard of sizes. The airflow in this helmet is really nice and it rarely ever fogs up on me. If you're just starting out riding than this is the perfect beginners helmet out there.

This helmet is extremely worth every penny I bought this for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves the design and the fit is perfect! Even with a headset in the helmet it holds a perfect fit! In addition it had many vents and great air flow!

This helmet is a tremendous value. Snell and DOT certification at a very reasonable price. I hear a little whistling through the vents at times and it's not the quietest motorcycle helmet I've ever owned but I would definitely buy this model again.

Solid helmet for starters and solid price.To give you perspective, it is the first helmet I've ever bought. It's a bit heavier than I'd like (it would be nice it it was a pound lighter). The reason I bought the white is because I plan to decorate it with custom made decals.

Excellent helmet for the price. Replaced the Vega x888 I used last year. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a nicer hemet like this one. The white is a high gloss with a perfect paint job. I chose white because I wanted a higher visibility versus a black helmet. The materials are excellent. A large fit my head perfectly. It is also very quite. I couldnt be happier!
