Rival Face Mask (Blue)

I purchased the red and blue at the same time (one for each kid) and they've been an amazing purchase for their Nerf wars. I have seen these get banged around and they are still like new. They work, too! They have a nice big area to see through, and are big enough to cover the face pretty darn fully. It doesn't extend to the sides, but that's unnecessary for the most part. My kids invite other kids over and I've really only seen kids hurt when getting hit in the face unexpectedly during a nerf war. With these, they look cool so they don't mind wearing it, and then I don't hear any problems. Without them, kids new to Nerf seemed to get upset at getting hit but not now. Rivals go much faster than Nerf so I'd imagine something like this would be very necessary in that case. I can't recall what I paid, but this item has a high level of functionality.

These are decent masks that protect your full face. For a child with a smaller face, it provides a little neck protection as well. I didnt require my kids to use these when it came to playing with N Strike guns but now they have Rivals that fire the balls with significant force. No more playing without masks. These is a decently wide strap on this and a great cushion that sits on the bridge of your nose to prevent your nose from getting too sore. This will fog up a bit if you are playing indoors and getting sweaty.

When I first saw this mask being advertised, I was sure it'd be this rinky little cheap plastic thing, like a Halloween mask you'd buy at Wal-Mart. Much to my surprise, this mask is made of some pretty sturdy material. It is also large enough to fit comfortably over my face, and I think I have a pretty large head. What really impressed me, however, was that the mask fits over my glasses perfectly. It is so rare to find one-size-fits-all head gear that works with glasses, let alone sits as comfortably over the face as this does. Five stars!

This mask is quite durable and definitely can be used for more than just Nerf purposes however it is not the most comfortable and if you wear it for over 30 minutes at a time you’re going to have to take it off and clean out the inside because it’ll get foggy but overall a pretty great product.

My loves this mask I got for him to use in his nerf wars. It's very intimidating but still breathable and comfortable to have on his face. He has not had an issue with it falling off when running around. It also provides the needed protection on his eyes. We have had too many nerf bullets in the eye to count, so this was the perfect solution.

Well worth the $ to have your face protected from the nerf balls or bullets

Son wanted the new Apollo and Zeuss Nerf guns for Christmas. With them shooting high velocity rounds, eye protection is a must. These looked cool, so he got one in red and one in blue. He doesn't particularly like them as they sit oddly on his face (he is an average sized 12 year old), and are hot. He just wears a pair of eye protection glasses instead.

Great product, well made and sturdy. I was worried it wouldn't fit my boys age 5 and 6 well but with a strap adjustment they fit just fine. Much needed with the new Nerf Rival guns that got that shoot incredibly hard.

Ich habe zwei Masken für meine Jungs geholt (4 und 7 Jahre alt), um den väterlichen Nerf Beschuß standzuhalten. Für Nerf Darts sind die Masken super, halten jeden Einschlag stand und sind sehr verrutschsicher. Durch viel Lüftungsschlitze beschlagen sie selbst bei längerem Tragen nicht. Da das Visier nicht getönt ist, ist es auch gut in der Dämmerung zu benutzen. Für andere Sportarten (Softair, Paintball) aber nicht zu gebrauchen, da die Maske aufgrund der Lüftungsschlitze nicht dicht ist und das Visier nicht die Einschlagsklasse einer Paintballmaske hat. Fazit: passt vom 3,5jährigen bis zum Teenager jedem. Gute Verarbeitung und angenehmer Tragekomfort. Nachdem ich den Jungs gleich am Anfang durch direktem Beschuß auf die Maske gezeigt habe, dass Treffer so schmerzlos sind, lieben sie die Teile (und fühlen sich in etwa auf einem Niveau mit Batman🙄). Deutlich besser als die reinen Nerf Brillen, die wir auch haben. Man sollte einen Nerf-Dart-Treffer bei Kindern nicht unterschätzen, ein Treffer auf die Lippe oder Nase ist wohl schon sehr unangenehm. Also klare Kaufempfehlung und aus meiner Sicht ein zwingendes „Muß“ für Kinder.

Really good clear plastic eye section. Overall good mask. Fits children and adults. Don't risk it. Just buy it. Save an eye!

Objet indispensable pour jouer avec les pistolets Nerf ou similaires. Les enfants ne se plaignent pas de douleur ou de glisse du masque. En revanche, s'agissant de plastique, ils ont tendance à transpirer mais rien de grave.

Regalo riuscito. Ho comprato la maschera per mio figlio di 8 anni e gli è piaciuta molto! Ho preso anche gilet e colpi, pronto per la battaglia!

Our Grandson loves it! He loves having Nerf gun fights with his Dad and friends but always hated getting hit in the face. The mask is perfect in preventing this. He's not a big boy but was able to adjust the mask to fit comfortably and safely.
